Answer:	Works great under cabinet with 1" overhang. Keep the lamp pulled 2/3 towards the front. These are nice and bright not like you see in any of the box stores. I also painted the under cabinet a high gloss bright white before installing. It is amazing how much light these produce.

Answer:	I would say yes, I have the 18" placed in an area under my cabinets and above the granite to cover a 3 cabinet and corner space. It is bright enough to do any work around that area including the sink with out having to turn on the kitchen lights. Quality and bright.

Answer:	This fixture does not have a power cord, but it is easy to add one. I bought an extension cord and cut off the receptacle end. Then I attached the cord to the fixture with wire nuts. I punched out one of the partially "pre-punched" holes and used a rubber grommet to protect the wire. This allowed me to make the power cord the exact length that I needed. Any hardware store has the materials and knowhow to help if you have more questions.
