Question:	How do you train an older stubborn dog to use the stairs
Answer:	Lots of treats! I have two dogs that use the stairs. One got it right away with treats and the other one it took a few days. Just use treats to coax and the dog will eventually use them. Hold the treat initially and then put one on a stair where they have to actually reach for it by moving up one step. Eventually you will get the dog to move further and further up. Just be patient. :)

Answer:	My Pitt Mix is 70lbs and there was no problem with her on the steps. They are quite deep and she went up them so fast she was probably on them for 20seconds or less. Then she just jumped onto the couch. They also worked great for my car because ramps didn't work on my sedan. These steps rested on the seat. I did put a small rug under the foot portion because it was on the driveway. I am so happy with these steps. I wish I knew about them sooner. My dog is 10 years old.

Answer:	there are different versions of each type of fan (P or F series) and the different sizes. 3 pin (usually) means voltage control, 4 pin (most of the time) runs in pwm mode. no difference in operating (one better than the other), as long as the board/fan controller recognizes the fan properly, and 3 pins transfer rpm as well. but fan rpm controlled by voltage seems to be a bit smoother at the lower end (~500 rmpand lower), versus the pwm one. then again, the "normal" F/P fans with pwm (0.3 sone) usually allow for lower minimum rpm (down to ~200) versus the silent type about ~350 (0.08 sone)

Question:	What kind of wood is this
Answer:	The horizontal pieces that hold the sides together I think are pine -- but the sides are the same stuff that "peg boards" are made of. I'm not really happy with the very flimsy construction -- the front of each stair is open - except that it is covered by the fabric which is kind of "wooly" and not what I would think would be good on stairs. I'd much prefer a tougher fabric -which I think I will make and replace the original "pull over" fabric.
