Answer: Hey Tracey! Before I purchased my Kongs, I actually went to PetSmart see what size I thought would be most suitable. For a 22lb beagle, you'd probably want to go with a medium or possibly a small. I'd hate to give you inaccurate advice, so if you're close to a PetSmart go in and look at them. Definitely purchase them off of Amazon though. I got 4 Kong toys off of Amazon for the price I would have paid for 2 at PetSmart. Good luck!

Answer: I soak kibble in water and add some baby food , like sweet potato, carrot, green bean , Sometimes I add the Kong squeeze liver to it, Or small pieces of apple, I used to add Peter Pan peanut butter to it, (its soy free and best for your dog) but my baby is allergic to PB .. opps. I fill it mostly with wet kibble, and the few teaspoons of baby food, (or all natural apple sauce) I leave a small grain free biscuit sticking out of the end and freeze it over night and it takes him 40-60 minutes to get it all out. .. He does his thing on the sofa, I just cover it with a blanket to keep it from getting soaked. The small one takes him 15 minutes. I portion this with his meal to make sure I don't over feed him. But Kibble and Applesauce or babyfood is a inexpensive option .. the large one gives me time to catch up on laundry, dishes and a shower!!!!

Question: How long is each toy
Answer: I got the small for my kitten when she was 3-4 months old. It fit her just fine and there is room for when she gets bigger. There is a drawstring that can be used to adjust the collar and she was still able to eat, drink and use the litter box. She's about 5 months now and we used it on her just recently when we got her spayed and still had no issues. The opening for the small is about 10-11 inches around and you can tighten it as much as you need to and the length of the collar is around 4 1/2in. Hopefully that helps! :)

Answer: A tree bookshelf sounds awesome! The scratcher is basically a cardboard box. I'm not sure how you'd attach it to a tree or shelf without glue. I don't think you'd want to permanently attach one of these. Eventually the cat shreds up the scratcher and it needs to be replaced. I'd opt for wrapping some sisal rope around some part of the tree. My tree has sisal on all the posts and my cats love it.

Answer: Yes, it is very true Catnip essential oil is 25% more powerful mosquito repellent than Deet !!! I have purchased oil and mixed it with other base oil , like coconut oil or grapseed oil to make a mosquito repellent for myself, it is extremely powerful and effective. I am super allergic to mosquito bites, since I use this , I have not get bite often. The only thing is you will need to reapply every few hours if you are in bad area since it does absorbed into your skin. You can make a potent bottle with 1 oz base oil , but just 20-30 drops of catnip oil , if you do not like the smell , you can also add other good smell essential oil to cover up the smell, you can also add the oil to water, and spray it on your body or your dog's body. But , I know it only works for mosquitos, not sure it will have the same effectiveness on flea and other insects. Also, when you applied this , make sure you stay away from cats as they will just go crazy on you , I get scratched once I encountered cat on the street.
