Answer:	Yes. Surprisingly it does have a strong scent which seems to make it more of a freshener and less of an odor eliminator or disinfectant.

Answer:	it's a pop top lid. you don't need a can opener for any of their food.
Question:	what is the consistancy of the food
Answer:	Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken is shredded white meat chicken in a light sauce. The consistency of the sauce is thicker than water but not as thick as a heavy stew. The food actually tastes pretty good (yes, I tasted it out of curiosity) even if it is unseasoned. Our little guy loves it.
Question:	Has anybody had any luck with their cats losing weight on this? I have a very fat cat who needs to lose weight on grain-free food
Answer:	We have as well. Poke around online and you will find the recommendation for wet food is 1oz per pound desired/actual of cat, per day. So a 13 pound cat would need 13oz of this per day.
Question:	what is the shelf life for these cans
Answer:	I haven't reviewed "Grandma's Chicken Soup", just Polynesian BBQ and one of the others. I would guess that the shelf life is typical of canned foods, though. The cases I bought (two different flavors) have "Best By" dates of August 2018.

Question:	What is the texture o this food? Is it pate-style, or is it chunky or morsels? My cats are picky about texture. Thanks
Answer:	so is my cat, very picky about texture. My cat LOVES this, runs over and eats it with gusto. My cat NEVER does that to other cat foods. Not ever. This texture is hard to describe, it is very wet, almost soupy, it is Not a pate, nope, this “pours” out of can, without needing any spoon, like a thick thick gravy. . THis cat food has minced up bits in it, very finely minced up. Not like "shreds" which are long, the meat is shorter small pieces. My cat prefers gravy but usually, with other brands, my cat would just lick off the gravy and leaves the “food” -------- but not this one, she eats it all, cleans the bowl. My vet prefers my cat to eat wet wet food, as my cat is prone to bladder issues, and my vet wants the cat to eat very wet food. I am glad i finally found a cat food with good ingredients that my cat will actually LOVE. Even though the label does not promote this a anti-UTI /anti-bladder stone food?----- It is. At least, it was for MY cat. After 18 months of trying every cat food for UTI, i tried this one, because it is so full of moisture. IT worked. 2 years now, of zero stones, zero UTI, finally. Now my cat no longer has bladder problems and UTIs and stones. Because NOW my cat gets Plenty of hydration and moisture to be healthy.
