Answer:	You can do either, but it is designed for scooping in a forward motion. It is pretty easy and should not damage your pool bottom because your poor surface should be harder than the plastic "rake". You can pull, but that changes the angle of the rake to a more upright position. You'll probably end up using as it was designed by scooping because it will be easier, more effective, less frustrating and non-damaging to the the pool.

Answer:	I wouldn't have a pool without this. I have an inground pool and yes I use it to skim out debris and leaves from the bottom of the pool. I usually do it gently as I don't want to rip my liner but it works well. When I bought my home, the pool hadn't been open in 5 years and it was full of leaves and debris. It took me a month to get it to turn from a frog pond to a clear blue pool, and I never would have been able to get it that way without this. I hope this helps, thank you.

Question:	On an 18 by 38 net, what is the inside dimension of the grommets
Answer:	Yes!! That's what I do. I actually use two. The first one lays across the pool, touched the water. The second I get a size smaller and run a wire from end to end, my pool is forty foot long. I stretch it from front to back and side to side using stakes in the ground around the pool. While the leaves are falling many just blow across as the top net is not touching the water. After all the leaves have falling, usually end of nov I will then mulch up all the leaves in my yard, and then take the top cover off and scoop up and leaves that got under the top cover. I leave my pool open during the winter. I have done this for the last several years and it works great. No need to daily scooping leaves off the cover until they all fall. Works for me. And these covers are pretty good for the price. Small netting too.
Question:	Does it now come with straps to hold water bags
Answer:	Please read the questions at the bottom of the page, already answered.
Question:	Are there grommets around the exterior of the cover
Answer:	Not at the same time. You will need to unpair the device connected to allow another phone or tablet to pair. Contact AV-Express for more details.
Question:	Can I use this net cover without a solid pool cover. I just need a leave catcher... We don't cover pool during the winter
Answer:	There could be many solutions out there, we do not currently offer one. Just make sure the connection point (threaded rod) to the speaker is the proper length and thickness.

Answer:	No, not really. It fits fairly snugly in the skimmer pocket. Plus, there is a top that goes on so you don't step in the hole. But even by itself, it doesn't float right up.
Question:	Does it come with extra clip for handle
Answer:	It is right at 7" just below the basket lip where it connects. Overall diameter is 8 1/2"
Question:	Can I purchase Replacement mesh nets
Answer:	In service, the handle is 180degrees from the way it is shown here...once in place, after you let go, in other words gravity pulls the handle upside down where it lays concave up.
Question:	Will this pick up rock from the bottom of a pool
Answer:	Not sure of the Hayward measurement...don't even know the make of my skimmer. I've had a hard time trying to find one with a minimum width of 8.5 inches.
