Answer:	I don’t think so. I bought these and was very disappointed. Did not work very well and didn’t last very long.

I have already experienced some shocking sensations and have removed my lights. I have others that I do not want to subject to this sensation, whether it be absolutely dangerous or not. It was not in a damp or wet environment that i experienced the shock, nor with the bug killer. I just am not confident in this product.

Answer:	There is a small internal device that acts as a starter to make the bulbs light up. It sounds like that starter has gone bad. Contact Flowtron and send them the unit for repair.
Question:	Is there a reason I can't use this indoor
Answer:	I've been using mine indoors for years because I don't really care about the bugs outside... I don't want them in my house. This model whacks bugs day and night. it doesn't stink... the hum is loud. Death to the flying insect.
Question:	Does the light still attract mosquitoes during the daytime
Answer:	the UV light attracts a ton of bugs at night but day time not so much. The Octenol makes the thing a bug killing fiend but in day time it is lack luster and probably a waste. Every morning it is 100% covered and clogged from mosquitoes and i have to use my data vac to clean it off. I use the 1 acre and 1.5 acre one and both are 100% covered by morning but during the day they hardly kill anything. They work at night well even without the Octenol but it definitely helps to have it. I have terrible mosquitoes here and mine only kills a few so if you are not flooded with them it probably won't do much for you during the day. I have to go outside with bug spray at noon to keep the mosquitoes off -_-

Answer:	Yes the BK40 works great upstairs and downstairs. Be warned... the hum is loud. Yes it is. We've had ours for years and finally 86ed it for the PestNot HBZ07

Answer:	yes, as long as you swing it ,You might need to swing it a couple of times in case the mosquitoes slip through on your first swing.
