Answer:	The pvc will work, but it won't be steady. You could put a heavy umbrella stand base (like those for a table) on the pool bottom. If you get one with a high cylinder for the pole, it should hold the pvc upright. No metal in the base! Maybe plastic enclosed sand for weight. OR Find a welder or metal works shop that does small projects for the public. Depending on your location, you might find an artist/sculpter who works with metal and would be happy for extra income while business is slow b/c of CV-19. Good luck.

Answer:	It’s a terrific umbrella. Well built and It met advertised expectations. We’ll worth the money. However, it won’t fit in a suitcase unless it’s a ski travel bag or the like.

The improved umbrella sand anchor, separate foldable sand anchor, easy to carry with the umbrella, as shown in step1.

Step2

Take out the iron tube from the fixed location and insert it to the hole of the umbrella anchor. Hold both ends of the iron tube and turn it. Clockwise into the sand (the deeper the better), as shown in step 2.

Step3

Pull out the iron tube and unloose the umbrella screw, take out the lower pole of your umbrella and put the lower pole into the umbrella anchor, as shown in step 3.

Answer:	No, the umbrella does not have a sand anchor, although, I used it at the beach for a week, few days very windy, and it held up great. The pole has a pointed end that you can easily anchor in the sand by wiggling back and forth. The deeper you put in the sand, the better it holds up.

Answer:	No, did not use a sand anchor. Dug a deep enough hold to anchor umbrella in the sand. Umbrella held up well in wind, just leaned umbrella into the wind and it stayed put.
