Question:	What if the motorcycle goes down? Does the harness disconnect in a fall
Answer:	We love the Kurgo harnesses. We have purchased twice as our dogs have grown. We have two ACD's (Australian Cattle Dogs) and our female is the large one. Approx. 45-50 lbs. She actually uses a size large but the neck is on the smallest setting and the straps that actually are under the belly and go up around the belly onto the back are not quite half way adjusted. Her neck is 18 inches and her belly around is 28 inches. I think the neck size would be ok on the large but probably not the belly size. They are adjustable so they give you a better fit. if the 34 1/2 inches is your dogs size around, then I would go with a size of X-large.

Answer:	I'm a certified, professional trainer and I use front clip harnesses only when training. (That is to say if I am using a harness or recommending one it is front clip.) This is because when walking a dog on a harness the front clip works two fold. First, it gives the dog a few miliseconds longer to notice when you're turning than a back clip and this makes a noticable difference for me when it comes to communicating intent to turn. Second, and this is the major reason, when a dog tries to pull they are forced to turn back and redirect their attention to their handler. There are other reasons. One being that are back clip set up allows a dog to lean into the harness which creates more power for them to pull, but I could go on for ages. It may seem counter intuitive but I highly recommend front clip if you intend to walk your dog in a harness.

Answer:	Love it but don't know if it has a weight limit but I don't walk around with our grand child in it. I put it on and sit on my quad and then help our grand child in. The size of the child that will fit depends on your size. My 240 lb husband wears it with all our grand children that need to be held on to.

Answer:	I use it for my 2 year. Old on an atv. She rides in front and while it does give me that little extra security. I prefer to keep one hand on her most the time for more support cause her head still flops forward and backward if we hit a little a bump. And of course I'm only riding slow and controlling my machine. And she usually falls asleep and I HAVE to keep a hand on her cause she limp sooo I guess it could word if you can ride your horse 1 handed and Ur horse is completly bombproof.

Answer:	You could connect them that way, but you'd have a hard time getting them together and apart behind your back. The child should sit behind you and the harness goes around the kids back, then straps would be around the child's waist and over their shoulders and fasten in front of the adult. The entire harness is made for a small to average sized person. Too small for my 6'6" husband, even without our daughter... He has a large frame and very fit, not heavy or overweight, 240#.
