Answer:	No, it only has an aux input. The only output is the built in speaker.

Answer:	It depends on how deep your cabinets are, the radio is 11.75 deep. You can also drop it so it is not flush with the bottom of the cabinet.

Answer:	Yes, but now that I have a Samsung Note 3, the phone does not fit in the holding cradle. Wish this came with Bluetooth so I didn't have to use the audio jack. If they built a flat extension next to the system, I could lay my phone next to it. But as it stands, I need to find an audio plug extension so I can lay my phone on the kitchen counter.

Answer:	Yes, it does properly tune FM, which is 88 to 108 mHz, which is exactly what the dial scale indicates on the radio. I think the Japanese FM band starts at 76 mHz which this radio does not cover.
Question:	I just purchased this sony icf-506 radio and it is constant static while in am mode. is there a solution to this
Answer:	AM reception involves a LOT of dependencies - too numerous to recount here; but, here are a few starters: COMPLETE static probably results from location, likely in a cement or steel building. Static on individual stations may be improved by rotating the radio to be perpendicular to the station transmitter location. Unlike FM, AM uses an internal ferrite-bar antenna, optimally about 8" long, usually across the top of the case (inside). Rotating the radio can make that AM ferrite-bar antenna perpendicular to the station transmitter ... for best reception. AM reception is better at night, also. Beyond this, Google AM reception ... for more thorough explanations.

Answer:	The magnet might be a problem maneuvering in a tight magnetic area requiring precise navigation. However it hasn't presented any problems for me yet. First off, the magnet isn't so strong that it's been a factor and secondly, with the jaws extended or partially extended, the magnet is behind them so that might help in positioning it. Sorry I can't give you a more definitive answer but I don't know your situation. I guess if it's a complete failure you could return it, but so far it's accomplished what I needed it to do. Question:	Can I connect the player to external Bluetooth speakers
Answer:	You can. For example, I have the August MS515 ( I am pretty sure it is the right model number) Bluetooth speaker system. Bought on Amazon. This is a set, left and right. They play in stereo nicely and perfect for a smaller apt say but here is why say it works. I do it. The left speaker has a wire input hole to go to the Sony radios headphone input on the front of the radio dashboard. The connection is flawless however, not wireless. Still operational and sounds clear and crisp, however if you are looking for super dupper woofer, it will not happen, still...its a beautiful sound. I would buy this combo again in a heartbeat, if necessary.

Answer:	Yes, of course. The nice thing is that you have BOTH options to use with batteries and make it portable or easily plug into an ouitlet. Actually I had the same question when I bought. I really like it...good sound quality and the fact that you can use the USB port loaded with music and they will play as well with the same quality. So you have the option to use CD's or music downloaded to your thumb drive!
