That doesn't seem to be uncommon. Few manufacturers, except those making the very large, expensive, models, provide horsepower numbers. By the way, contrary to the other guy's (rudely out of place) comment, it's not "a piece of junk." Mine has worked just fine for two cutting seasons. Now buying another as backup, and to spread the work to reduce wear & tear on either one. |

| Answer: | Ok ! there is a difference in carburetors, theres a metal rod that slides on the new one ,I had to cut some off because it was hitting the cover on the inside when I covered up the carb. When u pull the trigger it hangs up and scratches the cover on the inside, I pick up a little cheap electric cutter, put a small metal disk on it and cut off a little bit of the rod " the end that slides " .. Look under the cover if u see Mark's u may have to do the same.. the new carburetor has been upgraded looks like.. ( Poulan Chainsaw ) Hope this is helpful. I don't have pics. |
