Answer:	It depends if there is something both left and right of your sink base (such as another cabinet or dishwasher). The sides of the sink base will need to be cut to allow room for the rim of the sink and possibly room for the installer's hand to get in there to tighten the clips if they use that method. We frequently do it but the actual installer should be the one to decide based on your application. It's a little more work but it's worth it especially if the trade off is a much smaller sink. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Using under-mount sinks with Formica may not be a good idea as the fiber-board material under the Formica will be exposed to water and will swell up and crumble. Formica would be okay if used with a drop-in, over-the-counter sink. For under-mount sinks, you should use a water resistant counter-top material like quartz, granite, etc.

Question:	When it says min cab size is that width or depth from the wall? I have a long old bar back that is only 20” off the wall. Thanks in advance
Answer:	My cabinet is 32 inches. The countertop installers had to cut into the cabinet bracing to make it fit. Theoretically I suppose it could be done for a 29" cabinet, but I believe you would have to cut back all the bracing and then cut down the sides of the cabinet on which the sink flange would then rest so that your countertop would sit flush with the other cabinets. If you go online to their website you can down load specs and a template. That should help you decide. I do not believe such an install would be recommended as it would be both fussy to do and weaken the cabinet.

Answer:	My sink is grey. I use a bleach free and ammonia free spray cleaner. I have white quartz countertops and use the spray there too. I have had these a few months and so far no stains.

Answer:	Thank you for your question on the Elkay ELG1616WH0 Quartz Classic Single Bowl Dual Mount Bar Sink. The recommend minimum cabinet size of 21" is for the left to right of the cabinet. We recommend the cabinet be 3" larger than the sink to take into account the cabinet wall thickness to allow enough room inside the cabinet for ease of installation.
