The table and benches do come packed flat and require assembly. If you sink the screws in with a heavy hadn, the sharp tips can come through on the other side. Just a warning.

Answer:	The table dining room height. Perfect for an outside dinner party. The back cushions DO NOT stay in place. It's a bit annoying but not a big deal. I have added some decorative pillows. You could actually do without the back cushions all together and it still looks nice. The cushions in photo are not the same as those that come in mail. The photo looks like fluffy pillows. But the actual onces are flat similar to the ones to sit on. So far the seats have held up 200 pounds. Not sure long term.
