Answer:	With these caps, you don’t need a gasket. Just tighten the caps on securely. Also, make sure that you give the water an extra fizz pump if you want to make sure of the fizz.

Answer:	No. You have to remove the cap in full to drink from the bottle.

Answer:	The new glass carafes have different lids than the original glass carafe that came with my Penguin SodaStream. The newer carafes&lids fit the Penguin.

Answer:	I had the same problem, you need the gasket to create the seal necessary to hold the carbonation in the water. I was able to new caps on Amazon, but I don't think I found that you could purchase the gaskets separately, but maybe it can be done now.

Answer:	To germinate/sprout, soak for 8 hours. Then drain and let sit for about 12 hours. If you don’t see any sprout tips on the seeds after 12 hours, rinse and let sit for longer. Rinse before serving.
