| Answer: | Yes! These actually have a good range well into the mid-bass area. I've used many of the 6" 8" and 10" versions in custom 2-way configurations and they sound awesome! I typically use two decent tweeters (NEVER piezo), two 2-way crossovers, and one of these in the middle using the dual voice coil to handle both the left and right lows. (Note that if used in this type of 3-speaker configuration, the DVC must be located between the tweeters to preserve the stereo soundstage.) I usually make my pieces (it's a hobby) as stand-alone Bluetooth units with 100-200 watt amps, and they get very loud and maintain great bass punch (enclosure must be rigid). Best of all, I've used about 30 of these over the last few years, and none of them have blown or gone bad. |

| Answer: | If "free air" means no box, then no, it won't work very well as a sub-woofer. If you mean a ported enclosure, then yes it will work well. A ported enclosure will give it a "boomey" kind of sound, which is fine for some types of music like hip- hop or metal. A sealed enclosure will make the bass sound tighter which is better for other types of music. The sealed enclosure will also require more power to drive the sub. Mine gets 100 watts continuous and I have used both types of enclosures. I'm skeptical about that 600 watt rating. |

( CD- aux. etc.) Connect a powered subwoofer to either 1 of 2 ( sub out r+l ) connect at least 2 ( r+ l ) stereo speakers to either channel 1 or 2. ( And yes banana plugs will work ) black + red screw connectors. I recommend using only 1 set of speakers with this amp. From your second amp connect a second pair of stereo speakers. And if the second amp has a sub. Out. Then connect a second powered subwoofer. to the second amp. Make sure both amps are at a low volume. Start input sound source adjust the bass treble and balance of both amps to your liking. Turn up the volume of the second amp. ( or slave amp ) while the audio is on turn up the volume of the P3301bat. Now set the slave amps volume to your liking. Then increase the volume of the P3301bat. As you turn that volume up the slave amps volume will increase until you have reached the volume you set it at. If not enough slowly increase the second amps volume, then the P3301bat volume and the slave amp until desired volume is achieved. Now having done all that the primary amp ( P3301bat ) will act as your master volume. ( increase that volume and the slave amps volume will increase + vica, versa) To turn the system on 1- turn on audio source, 2- turn on slave amp. 3 - turn on the P3301bat.. To power off all ways shut down the P3301bat 1st. Or the above sequence in reverse. Try to use the most of highest volume from the slave amp. Doing this will stop power surge to the P3301bat that can blow the amp with a loud thumping pop. I hope this helps. This is the set up I use to practice my drums. If you are going to run the amps at high volumes for extended periods. About every hour or so turn down the volume and let the amps cool for a few minutes. I also use an external fan blowing behind and across the rear and top of the amps as the built in cooling fans are not enough for very high volumes for periods of 2 hours of more. All ways have a cool down period I hope this helps |

Typically when manufactures describe a ceiling or inwall speaker, the 6, 8 or in this case 10 inch noted is the actual size of the woofer it utilizes. Common for an 8" ceiling speaker to need a 9.5 to 10" cut out due to the plastic frame of the overall speaker. Here Pyle is using an 8" woofer but calling them 10" speakers on Amazon when that is the overall diameter of the product. |

| Answer: | The positive and negative terminal identifiers should be printed on the decal on the speaker magnet or on the frame. It may be difficult to see so grab a magnifying glass. Sometimes they can be printed on the terminals and not clearly obvious. The positive terminal may be the one bearing a red dot. The positive and negative terminals can be determined as follows: Get a battery or DC power supply. Get a dropping resistor to put in series with the power supply and speaker terminals. Connecting the power supply and dropping resistor to the speaker terminals momentarily to observe the cone movement: If the cone moves outwards then what's connected to the positive side of the power source is the positive terminal of the speaker. If the cone moves inwards then what's connected to the positive side of the power source is the negative terminal of the speaker. PLEASE DO NOTE: Never connect a speaker directly to a car battery or direct current power source as the current through the speaker can damage it. Use a dropping resistor of about 40 Ohms or so. If in doubt about performing such a test have someone knowledgeable in electronics perform it for you. |

The PLMR24B is a pair of 3.5", 200-watt, heavy-duty weatherproof speakers - perfect for the deck, the backyard, by the pool, or on your boat or other marine vehicle. They're completely waterproof, featuring a rustproof grill that's removable for cleaning. These 3-way speakers provide the full spectrum of sound, thanks a 3.5" aluminum injection cone woofer with a 24 oz. magnet for the low end, a 1.75" wide dispersion cone for the midrange, and a 1" super dome tweeter for the highs. | Answer: | I'm in Maine, I'm not worried one bit they'll have an issue, but I'll tell you the bluetooth is only good for about 15 ft. Then it breaks up quick and you lose it. |
