Question:	My experience with key chain pens has not been good. The pen part keeps getting separated and lost. What about these pens
Answer:	The cap and pen snap together and DO NOT separate too easily. I use mine while flying my plane. Having a loose pen roaming around the cockpit is a very bad thing. This pen has been great for years of use. Highly recommend it.
Question:	Can you get just the pen without the lanyard? I've gotten a couple stolen over the years and just need the pen
Answer:	You can get just the fisher space pen but it won't have the lid with the ring for the lanyard. I have not looked for a replacement pen for the lanyard

Answer:	It's more like a hard plastic than the silicone on phone cases. Stuff doesn't really stick to it, and if it does you really only need a quick flick of the wrist to get it off.

Answer:	Package does not say what series it is, but it Doesn't come with a pocket clip. I ordered a pocket clip separately. This is the pen that uses replaceable cartridges. The $100.00 + dollar version looks the same and is guaranteed not to ever run out of ink. I had one of those and it took seven years to run out of ink. Fisher replaced it for free. The more expensive model does come with a pocket clip.

Answer:	The only difference is that the SPR version has the plastic addition to fill in the longer ink tube wells for other type pens. If you're unsure which PR series to get, get the SPR. Also, the # is for which color ink you want. SPR4 is black ink, medium point, with plastic filler. 4F is fine point and 4B is bold point. PR2, PR3 & PR6 are blue, red & purple ink (I may have reversed the color, but I hope you can see how they are coded).

Question:	How long will the ink last in direct sunlight? I've got a map on my truck and want to trace my route. Sharpe "permanent" pens were not permanent
Answer:	As for direct sun light I cannot say being an underground coal miner... it works great after exposure to those circumstances but with the way the ink cartridge is made I believe it would be great. Have you thought of leaving maps behind and using a gps on a smartphone? They can be set to save your routes and you can trace them out on a map later... This is also not a felt pen so it won't dry out
Question:	When I write with this pen or shake it slightly, you can hear a rattle, as if the cartridge is hitting the side of the case. Anyone else have this
Answer:	I do not hear a rattle. Not even if I shake it. Try unscrewing the cartridge and then putting back together.
