| Answer: | I don't think so. The opening to place food inside isn't wide enough for any of the suet blocks I've seen. It needs something like that though as the holes for the food are larger than most feeders and anything but sunflower seeds or larger just falls out. |

| Answer: | I have had no problems with breakage. Although glass, the petals are sturdy and have a metal edge. Not sure if they are coated with something or not. The color seems to be painted on so I guess that constitutes a coating. I would buy this again— it’s unusual, attractive and the birds like it although it took them a couple weeks to get used to it. |

| Answer: | I don’t have the sunflower, I bought the prairie cone flower. It is heavy duty and I just love it! It adds color and “happiness” to my yard/garden! There is no problem with holding up weight of the blossom. |
| Question: | How do I loosen the screws on the flower head |
| Answer: | The reason that the screws are difficult to loosen are because the powder coating is creating a seal. Gently tap the screw with a hammer to break the seal and it should make loosening the screw much easier. I hope this helps! |

| Answer: | The Sunflower Bird Feeder is 34" tall and holds about 3 cups of seed at a time. |

Meet the Artists
Eric Carroll attended the Wichita State University School of Art where he developed a love for sculpture. He began by building custom work for businesses across the country. On a trip to Arizona he discovered the beauty of the Saguaro and returned to Kansas with a passion that hasn’t died since. Eric loves the challenge of replicating the natural majesty of desert plants with steel.
Richard Turner spent most of his career as a successful businessman, but welded for a hobby and creative outlet. When Eric married his daughter, Angie, Richard found someone with which to share his passion for sculpture. The two worked together to master Eric’s dream of replicating the Saguaro. In late 2003 they traveled to their first show where they were met with an overwhelming response. Ever since they’ve been attending shows and challenging themselves to recreate more of nature’s most treasured icons.

| Answer: | I use it strictly for black sunflower seed. I don't think its really designed for mealworms. |
| Question: | What kind of bird seeds fit this? Sunflower seeds are to big . Wild bird mix falls through. Just got it |
| Answer: | I use Audobon wild bird mix to which I add black oil sunflower (smaller than regular striped sunflower), safflower, and white millet. Birds love this feeder and there is no seed loss. The tray holds all that comes out and the birds eat out of the tray as well as from the sides. |

| Answer: | We live in the desert SW and have never had a problem with wet seed. We have two of these feeders and use them for black oil sunflower seed. They are well made and durable but hold the mesh at the top of the feeder when you unscrew the top or you will twist it. Our birds are so accustomed to the feeders, they fuss at me when they get low! We also have squirrels that put on a circus act when stealing seed, but they do no damage! |
