| Answer: | Not familiar with the Sarasa 1.0mm. The Z-grip pens require a normal amount of pressure. I do a lot of writing and the pressure doesn't bother me, but I've not had a hand injury so I can't speak to that. To go with less pressure I'd think you need a gel based pen like the pilot G-2 pen. I love the G-2's as well but it's a lot thicker line, which may not always be convenient. |

Why can't Paper Mate make at least one all stainless steel or chrome classic metal pen for these refills that could sell for $10 or less? Why leave the market open to Cross and Parker and designer pens when Paper Mate has the best refills? |

| Answer: | These pens are bolder than the same pen in .7. For comparison, I used my 1.0m Papermate InkJoy, and they are equal in the width of the line I drew. I have noticed, that in spite of the labeling being the same, there can be a difference in a 1.0, or .7, depending on the manufacturer. You would expect them to be identical, but sometimes that just isn't so; maybe the difference is the flow of the ink rather than the size of the ball. For what it's worth, hope this helps. |
