Question:	What percentage of flashlight users really use flashy modes? And people that do use them need instant access to them, so this UI is terrible
Answer:	More manufacturers should adopt customizable modes and settings. Take for example a convoy C8 from mtn electronics with custom LED, programmable timed step-down, and programmable modes with custom firmware like guppydrv or biscotti so that you can choose how many modes and what they are. Also, I am tired of flashlight manufacturers overusing the word “tactical” with no implications to the functionality of the light itself. A true tactical light in most cases has 1 mode: momentary high. Most tactical Surefire lights are this way. Any flashlight with extra modes yet a forward clicks switch should be considered a hybrid between tactical and everyday functionality (e.g, Fenix PD35 tac). With the UI of the Anker flashlights, I wouldn’t even consider them the least bit tactical. I had an anker and gave it away because the UI/ poorly programmed mode selection and memory got on my nerves so much. It was never in the mode I wanted and it was annoying to get to the right one. Hidden strobe is the way to go if at all. User programmable please.
Question:	Are you required to cycle through all five settings to turn it off (hate that), or is there an on/off switch
Answer:	I will not buy a flashlight with these annoying multiple modes. High/low/off is fine but the strobe and SOS are a deal breaker for me. Even if the switch has "memory" such as this one I still don't want to be forced to hassle with modes I will almost never use. I use high/low often on other lights but in 30 years of hiking, camping, hunting and other outdoor activities I have never needed a light to strobe or signal SOS for me.
Question:	There's a picture of it on a bike in the ad - does anker provide any way to do that or is it basically a duct tape job
Answer:	Anker probably shouldn't have included the picture on the LC130 product page. I have the shorter LC90 which has a thinner handle; it fits in a non-Anker bike mount, one of many options you can purchase on Amazon. The picture appears on the product page for all of Anker's flashlights.
Question:	How well does this flashlight go through dark tint
Answer:	Chris is right, if it's not safety glass. LOL to Chris' response! You'll need a light meter on the other side of the glass to give you an exact reading. If you know the grade of your tint then you'll have a percentage of light penetration or prevention. The local police might have the tool for testing tint on the fly. Your real question should be how many lumens does it take to get accurate visibility through your tint? All light will pass unless you've used a gallon of "tint" in high gloss..... but how effective is the light when it shines through.

Question:	Do you have to unscrew the end off of the flashlight to use the USB charger or does it plug right in to the end of the flashlight
Answer:	No need to unscrew anything. Just lift the small rubber flap at the end of the flashlight which will expose the usb charging port. Super simple to charge. I love this flashlight.
Question:	Do you have to cycle through the light modes, or does it have a memory to return to the last light mode when turned back on after a few seconds
Answer:	If this is the same as the LC90 one cell, you can click to turn the light on a few seconds in any mode, then turn it off. When you turn it back, it will be in the same mode. You don't have to do a long press to turn it off in order for this to work. However, maybe the long press does the same thing without having to leave it on a few seconds first.
Question:	Should it turn itself on during charging
Answer:	Mine does not come on when charging. Could it be that the light was left on, battery died, and then came back on during charging? Make sure the light is fully charged, blue light.
Question:	What is the difference between thhis "2 cell" and the original LC
Answer:	Alinha's response does appear to be the correct answer to the difference between models, although unfortunately Anker's marketing materials don't make this easy; the photos show basically the same output/longevity/brightness/range specs, with the 1-cell apparently having higher drop resistance. The item description does seem to clarify that the 2-cell model does indeed last about twice as long, although you wouldn't assume that's the case intuitively; traditionally when you have these tubular flashlights you drop in the cells which creates a battery in series, which increases the voltage (which in turn would increase the flashlight's brightness) but not the total capacity. You'd need to create a parallel battery to maintain the voltage output but double the capacity (an in turn the runtime/longevity.) It's entirely possible that's what Anker has done here; while difficult to do so in the confines of a narrow tube, you could accomplish it by putting the cells together with the cathodes touching and then route leads to one end of the circuit, with separate leads from the anodes to the opposite end of the circuit, then wrapping everything up so it can simply be dropped into the device.

However, it might be possible to create and add a second pocket clip that is facing in the direction that you desire by rummaging around for some pair parts at a local Fry's or Micro Center. Question:	Can I buy several to use simultaneously throughout the house? Like a cheap alternative to whole-house audio system
Answer:	Everyone saying no is wrong, the question is: is it worth it? Thats up to you. What you can do is this: Get a Bluetooth to aux receiver. Then get a aux splitter. Run 3.5mm aux cables to each anker speaker. Transmit to the Bluetooth to aux receiver. #done. Audio quality will be lacking as you're splitting it to 2,3,4,etc speakers and you're probably going to be running long cables which will cause loss as well. Best thing to do is get a proper sound system and wire it throughout the house with good speaker wire or get a decent system and just blast it in the middle of your house to hear it lol

Answer:	Yes. The charging circuit disconnects completely when the battery is fully charged. Supposedly, rechargeable lithium batteries have the longest life when left at 80% charge or less. Left fully charged all the time one can probably expect a life of 3 to 5 years vs: maybe 5 to 6 years when left partially charged. The batteries in this are standard 16850s and can be replaced easily - just pry off the grill from the edges to reveal the screws retaining the speakers.
