Answer:	My plastic file containers were 6 inches deep.

Answer:	Yes, probably 8 or so, depending on how much is put in the file.

Answer:	Good question. I do not know why the listed weights are so different, since they appear to be identical excepting colour (and of course, the black is currently much less expensive). Perhaps they were weighed with/without file folders/tabs? Typo? Perhaps the granite and blue ARE heavier, hence the (currently) higher price? I can only vouch for the black Decoflex, which is light yet sturdy. Wish I could be of more help.

Question:	After assembling, the slots just pop out. What am I doing wrong
Answer:	There are two plastic pieces, one black and one white. You must use both of them for each attachment. The second one expands the first one, like a drywall anchor. I believe the black one goes in first, through both the divider and the base, and then the white one goes inside the black one (not from the other side, from the same side - pop the white one right on top of the black one). Check the bottom to be sure the first plastic piece is expanding underneath.
Question:	If you were to substitute chicago screws for the plastic fasteners, does anybody know what size you would need? Would you need 24 of them
Answer:	Plastic fasteners would be too wide plus look horrible. Try the Godzilla glue. It worked very well
Question:	Do you think this will work for chrome books in a classroom? Is it sturdy enough? Wide enough
Answer:	It's wide enough but I don't think it would be quite sturdy enough to hold chrome books.
Question:	How wide is each slot
Answer:	Each slot is about 2"
