Answer:	The calibration weight is a metal piece. These are shipped to Amazon is a plastic bag with the bar code on the bag. Amazon than boxes the weight and ships it to buyers.

Answer:	a couple of things to consider. perhaps the 500 gm weights that cost less aren't as close to 500 gm as the more expensive weight is to 1000 gm. it might be that the two 500 gm weights even out to 1000 gm (one is above 500 gm and one is below), but you shouldn't count on that happening. second, it is easier to put a 1000 gm weight almost exactly in the center of the scale than it is to put two weights offset from the center where you are trying to get the line between the two weights to go thru the center of the scale. there is a third consideration, but this is pure speculation on my part. the calibration software for the scale might be set up assuming the weight is in the center of the scale, and the preciseness of the calibration drops off a bit when the weight is spread out from the center.

Answer:	It is a single piece of solid steel, but there is a screw on the bottom covered with a sticker. Inside is a small amount of loose material used to fine tune the finished weight. DO NOT REMOVE THE STICKER, SCREW, OR LOOSE MATERIAL!!! I took this weight to a jeweler and they checked it. It was PERFECT. These are great weights for the price. I bought 2 and they were exactly the same. Quality weights of this size have the hollow adjustment pocket like this does. Just leave it alone and don't open it.

Question:	Question for the seller: my set was missing the 1 gram piece, can you send me just that piece
Answer:	I cannot comment whether there are any certificates to substantiate the error rate, but I did test my Neewer set when I received them. I weighed them on Dillon and Hornady electronic scales and on Dillon, Redding and RCBS beam scales. I found each of the test weights to be extremely accurate (+/- .1 grain) up to the maximum capacity of my scales. 100 grams = 1543.24 grains, so the accuracy of my set is excellent (+/- .0065 grams). The 100g test weight in the Neewer set agreed exactly with the 100g calibration weights that are provided with the Dillon and Hornady scales. My only complaint is with the plastic tweezers, but those are easily and inexpensively replaced with stainless ones.

Answer:	I can see your concern! The set that was sent to me, I haven't had any issues on my fixed Ohaus Scout Scale or 2 of my US Balance Portable Scales that I use and show my client the exact weight. I also have a brass set, that I compare them too, for double accuracy on calibration. But on your question, I would look at the least amount for your +/- amount. If you still have doubts, contact Neewer, I think it's a error in printing!
