But really, all the logo does is give more money to the big boys. Question:	Can I use this with just distilled water in the winter without using antifreeze
Answer:	Yes, although I don't know why you would want to. Motorcycle oils are already pretty rich in Z and P. Now if you are deciding to run a 15w40 diesel oil, you may want to boost Z and P slightly if it is CK-4, and this product is appropriate for that. An SG, SH or even most SL motorcycle oils are all you need.
Question:	Compatible with hoat (orange) coolant
Answer:	No, use 5W-30 synthetic oil that meets GM4718M specifications or whatever is specified in your owners manual. The excess zinc and phosphate in Redline break-in oil is meant for hot rods with engines from the 1960's to 1980's with flat tappet camshafts, yours is a roller tappet engine. You could possibly cause damage to your oxygen sensors and catalytic converters if you use this product in your Cadillac. Look for oil that says Dexos1 (Dexos2 is for diesels) but remember to check that the oil meets GM4718M specs and is a 5W-30 synthetic.

Answer:	i don't know if you are supposed to use vc-8 to recondition pre charged coolant. I Use Havoline green HD conventional coolant that is not pre charged and same with gold.

Answer:	If you are changing the coolant, just purchase coolant with the additive already in it. If you are intent to use standard antifreeze, it will take four bottles of the VC-8 to get you in the protected range according to test strips. Once you have established protection, test your antifreeze yearly with test strips and ad VC-8 if needed.

Answer:	I use the VC8 with old school green anti freeze. I do know if you can use it with the VC12/ gold? I would check the specs of VC12

Answer:	The gold doesn't need it unless your nitrate level gets below 800ppm. This is for the early diesels running green. Answer:	Hmmm... Hose leaks are hard to stop....... It's usually better to replace the hose.... If it is the radiator, this will more than likely work..... Are you running hot when the coolant is low? or are you running hot most of the time? This won't do anything to help a radiator that does not cool efficiently, the radiator would need to be replaced.
Question:	Will using this product do anything to tear up ur vehicle if ur not sure it has a leak
Answer:	Shouldn't, only flows through the closed cooling system. I had a freeze plug leaking, was too large of a leak for this to fix, noticed no adverse effects after replacing freeze plug.

Answer:	I was just at a Subaru dealership and was going to buy this along with Subaru coolant for my 2006 WRX 2.5l Turbo, and the parts counter guy double checked with a tech in the back who said he stopped using this with turbo cars, so I didn't buy it. I also don't have any leaks or anything along those lines. I think they used to use this every coolant change as part of it but not anymore on the Turbo models.

Answer:	This is just a Subaru labeled version of Holt's Radweld @ holtsauto.com, so check their website for more info. I did some research, and yes, Subaru specifies it for the 2.5L engine, due to a common gasket failure, perhaps to get thru the warranty period before it fails. It is made in England, and contains borax and linseed meal. I used it in my 1992 Firebird, and added two bottles because it has a larger coolant capacity.Holt's claims to contains rust inhibitor, and the sealant particles are not likely to clog your radiator or heater core, so it can be used as a preventative to seal minor leaks, should they occur. I think it is better than other products on the market. The current price here is high, so I would try to find an equivalent product at your local auto parts store.

Thank you for your question and for considering Bar's Leaks Cooling System Treatment (part number J-100) to help with a heater core issue. We aren't sure what you mean by "broken" heater core, but can tell you that if it has a small leak then yes, we would expect these tablets to help seal it. However, if it has a more severe leak, such as a hole in it that is causing coolant to pour right out, that may be a more difficult seal to make and may require a stronger product or a physical/mechanical repair. To use these 5 gram tablets, install 4 tablets per gallon of coolant capacity. If you have not already purchased these tablets, you may also want to consider our part number HDC - Radiator Stop Leak Tablets. These tablets are made of the same materials as the J-100, but they are 10 gram tablets that come 6 to a package, and require only 2 tablets per gallon of coolant. Please note that cooling systems that are dirty or partially clogged should be thoroughly cleaned before using either of these products. If you haven't run a chemical cooling system flush through the system in the last three to four years, we suggest you do so now. Answer:	So far it's been treated with this since about November of 2018 and is sealed and working good with no visible leaks. I learned to do exactly as the instructions states for it to work as it should. To remove the upper radiator hose and install the recommended amount of sealant tablets. I've been watching close for a coolant leak and it does work as described with no leaks. It does not appear to cause cooling system problems but does seem to help in every known way so far.
