Answer:	This weighs in as little as tenths of an ounce. On a few occasions mail I brought to the Post Office was off be an ounce, but mostly it is quite accurate.

Answer:	Being as there are 7000 grains of powder in a pound and you will need to measure to 0.1 grain with accuracy accuracy of 0.001 grain, this scale is of no use for reloading. You could easily use too much or too little powder, both can destroy your gun and maybe yourself.

Question:	If a large package is placed on the scale and it covers the digital screen, how do you know the weight
Answer:	There is a fold-up portion of the scale to accommodate top-heavy packages, so you can turn the package the other way to view the screen. If it is still too large, you can use something on the scale first, like a smaller cardboard box, zero the scale out with that extra box on there, then place your package on the extra box hopefully allowing you to view the scale readout. I often just use a plastic mixing bowl from the kitchen, zero it out, and then balance my large package on the bowl.

Answer:	I still have the box -- There's a warranty card inside, that should've come with your scale. According to mine, it says that it's a 10 year warranty, and it covers scales that they determine to be defective in material or workmanship. The phone number is 1-888-919-6888. You need to call that for them to give you an "RMA number", before you return it. As a heads up, the gist of the warranty card's fine print is: The customer is responsible for shipping the scale to Accuteck (and the recommended insurance) but they will pay for the shipping on the replacement. Says you will need to pack the scale to avoid further damage in shipping... if you no longer have the cardboard foam inserts that were underneath the platform when you opened it, I advise you to make something suitable to put under there, before packing it. You don't want the scale platform jiggling around during shipment and then appearing to be user error when they get it on the other side. After they give you the RMA number and you pack the scale, you'll need to include a copy of your Amazon receipt and a note with your RMA number (Accutek doesn't mention this but I think it's a good idea to do, anyway)... plus your name, address and phone number, along with a quick note about what the problem you're having is.

Answer:	yes, with a calibration weight. Most dumbbells, aren't the exact weight. For instance, 5 lbs dumbbell usually 4 lbs something or 5 lbs something. It's not exact 5 lbs.If you are insist on using a dumbbell, use olympic standard dumbbell

Answer:	Scale does NOT have an internal calibration feature. You must use an external calibration weight that weighs exactly 2 Kg or 5 pounds to calibrate the scale at the location where it will be used. Answer:	I guess the lid is intended to help hold things upright for more accurate measuring but I don’t feel the scale is well made and found it quite unhelpful and inaccurate. I returned mines within the week.

Answer:	Maybe you can weigh a small bag but I am not sure about a small suitcase. It supposedly can take up to 86 pds. I only weigh small packages to ship on EBay so not sure about larger weights. Great scale though! I love it!

Answer:	No....came in a lightweight packaging box inside a mailing envelope. I ended up returning the first one (and the second one as well they had sent as a replacement) as both scales seemed to have issues with keeping a stable and consistent weight. I was very disappointed in how the scales were shipped.

Answer:	Hello, please kindly know that you need press "HOLD" button before you weighing stuffs. First, press "HOLD" to turn on the hold function, and the lcd will appear "HOLD". After weighing the item in it's packaging I also take into consideration the amount of weight for tape used and any added paperwork; like packing slip, etc.. Answer:	Yes, I put a small stapler- personal use one, not business use one- on the scale and it weighed in at 2 oz. This scale weighs pounds, ounces and fractions of ounces ( not actually showing it as a fraction but in tens/tenths places). I can't remember what it was but something else I had weighed came in at .6 ounces. So yes, this scale can weigh items under a pound, just don't exceed the 85 pound max limit.
