Answer:	Hi. We put two of these in during our kitchen remodel. It's a solid piece of wood. You must remove the countertop (and the top shelf if you want one on thebottom also). It has to drop straight in from the top.

Answer:	I installed it after I built the corner unit. I used the larger lazy susan. You would need a firm shelf, I suggest 3/4 inch plywood. The lazy susan has a plug that matches the maple, you remove the plug and screw in the lazy susan hardware from above. I did 2 lazy susans with the shelf half way up the cabinet. If you don't have a shelf and cannot put one in, I think you are out of luck. You wouldn't necessarily need a shelf to fill the entire corner cabinet dimensions, you could put braces on the side and use a straight shelf about 18 inches wide and attach the susan hardware to that.

Does this grommet work on a vertical surface

Answer:

Not sure I totally understand issue? Will your shelf "pull out" from your cabinet? If the shelf will pull out, it could be a close fit with the 22" wide door. My shelves are "fixed" in my pantry and that is why I needed them to rotate and required a "D" shape because of a spice rack that is 5" deep and attached to door which if shelf was not D shaped would not have allowed door to close. I measured OD (outer diameter) dimension of my rev-a-shelf and it is 19.5". 1/2 inch under advertised size. Perhaps the 22" OD is 21.5" which would provide you some clearance? Hope that helps.
