Answer:	A quick Google search of "Superior Pump 91250" yields the manufacturers specs. I do not see PSI listed but "Pumps will lift water up to 25' of vertical height" I belive answers your question...there is a chart on the "Performance" tab that shows 30 GPM at 0' lift and 2 GPM at 25' lift...with flow rates every 5' listed.http://superiorpump.com/products/utility/91250.html
Question:	Does it have an automatic shut off
Answer:	The pump does not have an automatic shut off. I added a float switch because I wanted it to pump out a sink that had a slow-running clogged drain where I had the washing machine. When the sink was mostly pumped out the float switch turned off the pump. It worked great for a couple years until I got around to dealing with snaking the drain which didn't have an easy clean-out. This is a good pump, since the sink drain got taken care of, we've been using the pump to pump koi pond water over a 5' fence to our neighbor's garden using about 150' of garden hose. The pump runs continuously for 5+ hours without issues in this process.
Question:	Will clothes washer hoses fit on this pump
Answer:	The pump itself fits a garden hose nicely. You can buy the attachment package listed next to it for the converter piece. It only came to around $8.00. It also comes with a larger hose. I didn't need it for my spa but if you need to empty a washer or bigger pool it seems like it would come in handy. Hope that helps. Good luck. :-)
Question:	Can this be user to flush a tankless heater with vinigar
Answer:	I bought the pump for this very reason. I'm not sure if it is rated to handle vinegar, but at the price I figured I'd try it and see. I have two tankless water heaters, and I wanted a pump that could clean out both at the same time and this pump certainly does the job. I have a hose that runs from the pump, into a splitter. From the splitter I have two hoses going to each water heater (one hose per water heater). Even pushing water through two hoses, it still has a strong flow, with each hose pushing about the same flow as the water hose faucet outside your house opened wide open (guestimate). The splitter I have allows me to adjust the flow rate by closing off some valves if it is too strong. For just one water heater, i would think this pump is too strong (as it REALLY moves water), but I'm not a plumber so I couldn't say for sure. If I were to do it again, I think I would have purchased the 1/4 HP pump, or even the 1/5HP for cleaning out water heaters with vinegar. I cleaned out my water heater this week for the first time using this pump. I let it run for 2 hrs, and I noticed that it got warm (about the temp of a warm-to-hot bath). I'm not sure if that is normal, but thought I'd let you know.

Answer:	Not all pressure washers pull water. Being in the same situation it depends how high you have your pressure washer compared to your pump and the distance traveled between the two. Head pressure in your tank as well. You have more pressure when your tank is full compared to when you are almost empty

Answer:	It drains water from our 100 gallon rain barrels just fine. I don't see why it wouldn't work for that. The hose is pretty short for our needs but we are watering our yard. It's not lightning fast mind you -- but it's pretty good. Much faster than just opening the spigot that comes with our rain barrels. I hope this helps.

When I purchased the gates thermostat to go with it it came with the the rubber o- ring installed on the thermostat housing. Very easy to put on and replace. I had 200000+ miles on my silverado and would recommend replacing the water pump mounting bolts since mine were really rusty and I didn't trust them to put the pump back on. Hope this helps you.

Question:	how much pressure does this have. I have a on demand water heater that need 20# of pressure, will this work
Answer:	This won't work. This pump probably has only 10 psi at best. I used this with a water hose to transfer a 60 gallon pond of water, it took 45 minutes to do so. Buy a bigger pump. It's nice if you only have a low demand like I did. Plus this pumps shuts off automatically every 7-10 minutes of use.

Answer:	I would think so but only if its protected it from the weather. The motor body has vents at the end where a cooling fan spins and if water gets in there...I dont know. Also, if it gets too hot it will shut down until it cools. Its not a sump pump, and its great for emptying say a 50 gal reservoir in 10-15 minutes but its not heavy duty.

Answer:	Ac Delco has 3 quality lines. OEM (best) professional (better) advantage (good). This is a Professional line of AC Delco meaning it’s of lower quality that that of OEM grade to compete with parts store parts. If you have your water pump replaced at the dealer, you’d be given the options for this Professional line of pump to save money on repair costs. My original GM water pump lasted 225,000 miles (19 years). The pump was still had black paint and assembly marks on it. This Professional pump works just fine but the pump itself develops surface rust within a month which is nothing more than cosmetic issue since it’s not painted, but the lifespan out of this pump will probably be in the 70,000 mile range. I’d recommend this pump over NAPA/autozone/oreilly/advance parts store pumps anyday since this one is USA made and the others are Chinese.

Answer:	I used mine on my Gmc Safari with 4.3L. Since the 4.3 is a 5.7 with 2 cylinders cut off, I suspect that the pumps are identical. Be sure to loosen the fan attachment nut before removing the belt to make it easier.

Question:	How many amps is the pump
Answer:	The pump runs at .22 Amps, and recommended supply current of 2.5 Amps. A standard 15 Amp wall socket is all that you need to plug it into. The .22 Amps the pump indicates maximum start up current, actual running current will be somewhat lower. Inrush current is always higher, when the motor has to start up, actual running current will be lower, example a 1 HP motor will have an inrush current of about 34 Amps, just until the motor reaching normal operating speed then it drops down to around 7.5 Amps, quite a bit lower, but the breaker needs to be able to handle the inrush currents.
Question:	can i used without the sensor valve
Answer:	Yes.As long as you have a return line running back to your water heater. You do not need a separate return line at every faucet. You need one return line. Follow your hot water pipe to the end (last branch takeoff), cut in a tee and run pex or copper. At the bottom of your tank style water heater there is a small, usually plastic valve. Remove that valve and screw in a 3/4" brass or stainless pipe nipple. Then install a tee inline with side outlet looking up and in the end of the tee put a brass drain valve to replace the crappy plastic one if applicable. The side connection on the tee you installed is where you will connect your return line you just ran. I did not notice if this pump had a built in check valve but if not you may want one to prevent water from flowing through both the hot water main and the hot water return to the faucet nearest the end. Water will follow the path of least resistance so the last branch on the main usually ends up being similar in distance to the water heater from either line. As a result water can back feed up the return line and will bring the cold water entering the tank with it. This is especially true when a second source of hot water is being used at the same time hence the need for a check valve.
Question:	If the pump is on, and the water is hot, the sensor valve closes, right? Isn't the pump trying to push water against a totally closed line
Answer:	This type of pump is designed to operate with zero flow, and it actually uses a little less electricity when it is not moving water. When the sensor valve closes, the pump does not move any water. When the sensor valve reopens, the pump moves water from the hot water line into the cold water line.

Answer:	If you run this all the time you will likely increase your water heating costs significantly as you are turning your pipes into a big radiant heater. You can use the built in timer to only have it come on at set periods, but this will only work if you have a very fixed schedule. I attacked this another way. I plugged the unit into a TP-Link HS110 Smart plug that is Alexa controlled. I can just say turn on hot water pump or turn off hot water pump when I want to control it. But that was not good enough for me. I found that if this pump ran for four minutes it would give me hot water at the distant shower that I wanted, so I did the following. I wrote a routine to turn on the pump, wait four minutes and then turn it off. While I can run this by voice, I bought the new Amazon Alexa Button, they are about $14 for a two pack. The button is battery operated and communicates to another Alexa device. Just before I take a shower I push the button and within four minutes the water will be hot without having to run water.

Answer:	the intake will hang about 11 ft down into your pond...but depending on how high up the hill is...that is where you might find problems..the grade of the hill is important as well as who long the hose going up the hill is..if your hill is 25 long and it is 10 feet higher then where your pump is..that is about the limit..what you will find is you will lose "prime"..this is the suction of the pump..and the pump may overheat causing it to shut down.

Answer:	I use one of these regularly and the answer to your question as asked is yes, it will move 158 gallons of water a minute from the lake onto your grass. The pump will have to be close enough to the lake for the end of the pickup tube to be submerged in the water and there are some vertical limitations as to how high the pump can be above the lake - check the specs. Once the water gets to the pump, you've got to figure out how to handle it. It's quite a stream if the motor on the pump is cranked up. We use a 50' flexible extension in addition to the included output hose and just hold the end in our hands like a fire hose - it's hard, wet work. But it does move a lot of water and fills our need perfectly.

Answer:	No, you have to prime it. The priming process is very easy though. I just dip a bucket into the ditch where I'm pumping from and fill up the chamber. I've thought of having another funnel to use when I pour the water in, but it really isn't necessary.

Question:	Is ithere any advantage to useing more than 1 valve in the system
Answer:	if you want instant hot water you need a valve at every sink. Our house has about a 60' run. I only installed 1 valve at the farthest point. The other sinks before it get hot pretty quick now but not as fast as the valved one.
Question:	If I leave the system 'ON' at all times (and don't utilize the timer), what's the energy usage equivalent
Answer:	If you leave it on, all the time you are basically putting a radiant heating system into the areas where your hot water runs... It made out hot water heater bill insane. Turned it off, and my hot water heater uses a 3rd or less of what it used to. The timer needs to be coordinated with when you need hot water at the most distant fixture. I am adding a remote wireless control to mine so I can only turn it in when I need it and don't have to use the timer.
Question:	Trying to understand the following: how valve communicates with pump? My understanding, valve has temperature sensor, valve opens when temperature in hot line drops below a whatever temperature set in there(like 85F or so). So, if pump set to ON - it will start circulating right away... But if pump set for certain time
Answer:	Several of these answers are incorrect.The thermostat is not built in to the pump...if there was a thermostat in the pump, it would run and turn off almost immediately because the water is being pumped out of the tank and would satisfy the set temperature very quickly or not turn on at all because the pump is connected directly to the tank outlet. The PM Comfort Auto has a temperature sensor that attaches to the cold line to the HW heater...the comfort system runs all the time...against itself when the comfort valve is not open.It does not have a thermsistor...it is a mixing valve. When the temperature of the water approaches 95 degrees, the valve closes just like a thermostat in a car does.The amount that of hot water that returns is not "miniscule"...it is the same amount as you would use to wait for the hot water except that the pump only provides 2-3 gallon per minute...as it approaches 95 degrees the valve starts to close and the flow reduces. As the system continues to run after the initial start, then it is correct that it a small amount that goes back to the tank.
Question:	You mount the pump at the hot water heater, what type of valve is at the farthest point to allow water circulation? I have slab construction. Thanks
Answer:	Your kit should have come with the bypass valve. This is mounted under any sink between the hot and cold water pipes. Best location is at the farthest point from the hot water tank. I actually have 3 of these bypass valves installed because of the way the hot water is distributed throughout the house. You should have a flex pipe between the cutoff valve and the faucet for both the hot and cold. These flex pipes feed the bypass valve and you will then need two more flex pipes to go from the valve to the faucets. If your kit did not come with the bypass valve and pipes, you can order them online. The valve is referred to as a comfort valve, also from Grundfos. This system works great. I have the timer set to come on about an hour before I get up and run for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening.

Answer:	The pump itself is not adjustable, constant rpm constant output. Since it is a centrifugal pump you can always neck down the discharge piping to slow the GPM to your liking though that will raise the discharge pressure, so be aware of that as well of that os the route you choose.
Question:	Does anyone have a head-height performance chart for this pump? for example, if the pump is 3 ft. above my pond, how does that affect the output gpm
Answer:	I’m using this pump in a travel trailer . The pump is at floor level and it transfers water up to the kitchen faucet approximately 4 feet or counter height. The flow rate is very good, there’s minor pulsing but it delivers Water consistently. I would recommend this and it sounds like it would work in your situation.
Question:	Whats the max temperature this can pump
Answer:	The maximum temperature this pump can handle is 140° F. Any higher than that and the internals of the pump can be damaged over time.

Answer:	I use it as such. Flow is about half of ordinary hose. Pressure is substantial if doing intermittent brief sprays
