Answer:	Hi, You can monitor your inputs and listen to playback from your computer simultaneously, which allows you to create overdubs with next to zero latency. You can either choose to monitor the inputs using the Direct Monitor switch, or you can use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW. If using the Direct Monitor feature the input signal will be passed directly to the line and headphone outputs, whereas if you use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW, you will be hearing the audio you're recording back from your DAW. Answer:	Hi, When recording a single microphone, you should ensure that you create a mono audio track in your DAW instead of a stereo audio track. When you record onto a mono audio track, the output from that track will be heard on both sides of your headphones or speakers (ensuring the output is set to stereo), however, if you record onto a stereo track, the audio will just be recorded onto the left side of a stereo file and you will ony hear it on the left of your headphones/speakers. The Rockville RPM870 is an 8 channel powered console mixer with USB input. There were a few goals we had when designing this mixer. The first one was it had to have the clearest sound quality with the best quality mic preamps. We manufactured this mixer with XDR2 low noise mic preamps. These are some of the best sounding mic pre’s on the market. They compete in quality with any brand on the market! The next goal we had was versatility. This mixer has aux sends and returns on each channel so you can route your external effects easily. We also built in a 24 bit digital effects processor that sounds great. We didn’t include 99 effects which all sound the same. Rather we included 16 solid effects that are each useful. You can customize each effect in the FX control section of the mixer. The last goal was to include a built-in amplifier that is powerful enough for your main speakers so that you can use this mixer for large events with over 500 guests.



We tested this and we ran the mixer to Mackie C300Z speakers, and even with the volume turned up half way these were filling an extremely large room with sound! We also tested these with dual 15” DJ speakers and really cranked them and the sound of the highs and lows were crisp and clean. The great thing about this is the amp does not overheat even when cranking it for hours straight. The power amp built into this mixer is 500 x 2 RMS @ 8 ohms and 750 x 2 RMS @ 4 ohms. We rate the RMS very strictly the way famous brands like Mackie rate their items. We also supply you with program and peak ratings but RMS is the true continuous output power you should look at.



Other great features are a dual 7 band master EQ, a 4 band EQ on each channel, an EQ kill switch, and pad and solo buttons on each channel. Question:	Do you get 4 independent channels when connected to a daw
Answer:	One for each input, so more than 4. They added multitrack recording in a firmware update after release. This is for both sd and usb.
Question:	Can I add additional microphones/headphones
Answer:	yes, you will have to purchase microphone and headphone. The Rode Pro Podcaster doesn't come with none of these.
Question:	Can I utilize Skype for interviews, set up a mix minus with it
Answer:	Yes. Either using Skype phone app through Bluetooth or USB to computer. This is one of the main features that justified the RØDECaster. Otherwise a mixer, zoom h6, and compressor/limiter/gate give me a better overall audio quality. I tried a couple of the Bluetooth inputs for mixers and they were okay too. The RØDECaster is far easier grab and go. I hope they update EQ in a future software release.
Question:	Does this work with a usb mic
Answer:	The last person to answer this question was wrong. It absolutely does support a USB mic. I used a Blue Yeti Pro and the Blue Snowball (both of which are USB mics). However, the Rodecaster Pro does not have a USB-A port. That is the rectangle-shaped USB end that we are most familiar with. It has a USB-C port on it. So, you need an adapter or a USB cord with the end you need. I have a USB-C to USB-mini cable. Most USB mics that I have used have a USB-mini port. You can also get a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Both the cord and adapter are under $10.
