Answer:	The pedal has reversible polarity, so it will work with all keyboards.
Question:	Does this pedal have a gradient on the sensitivity for the sustain, OR is it an on/off sustain switch
Answer:	It appears this is a simple on/off switch pedal. For continuous or gradient performance the phrases to look for in sustain pedal description are "half-damper" or "half-pedaling." If there is no indication by the manufacturer of one of those descriptions, the pedal is just an on/off switch. If your digital piano or electronic keyboard supports half-damper, then a half-damper pedal varies the nature of the sustain effect based on how far down you depress the pedal. The only half-damper pedals I have found so are the Yamaha FC3A, Roland DP-10, and Korg DS1H. The half-damper effect emulates the action on an acoustic piano of lifting the felt damping pads only part way off of the strings.

The pedals will not have a switch to change polarity and will operate as normally open. This means that the pedal will send a value of 0 when up and a value of 127 when pressed down all the way. Different manufacturers may program their keyboards to respond to the opposite (127 when up, 0 when down) and to combat this some pedals may come with a switch to change the polarity of the pedal to match that of the keyboard. If there is a 1/4" sustain connection it should work... there is a polarity switch on the pedal that you may have to flip but that's a good thing. Makes it pretty much universally compatible

Answer:	Yes. The SP-3 pedal will work with the XW-P1.
Question:	The sustain is backwards, is there a way to change it? For example, when the pedal is plugged in, it is constantly sustaining unless its held down
Answer:	The polarity is reversed. There are a couple of ways to fix this. When the pedal is in and acting backwards, power the keyboard off and then turn it back on with pedal plugged in. Try powering the keyboard on and then plugging in the pedal. Another way is to power down, insert pedal, step down on it and power the keyboard on.

Even though both Roland and Yamaha digital pianos are designed to work with 'normally closed' third party pedals, the Roland DP-10 for some reason works only as an 'on/off' switch, and not as a continuously variable sustain / damper pedal as it is intended to be by Roland, when connected to a Yamaha P-45.

Answer:	You should check to make sure the P125 requires a simple Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) switch. If it does, then this would work, because there is a switch on the side to change polarity between NO and NC. If your P125 requires something other than a simple switch (or supports half-peddling), then you should look elsewhere.

Answer:	As far as I can tell my Yamaha PSR-170 has a power adaptor, head phones, and sustain plug ins. Plus it has the 2 MIDI Plugs. IMO the sustain needs it's own plug due to the way it functions.

Answer:	Just checked the EZ20 manual online and this is the one it says will work. Either an FC4 or FC5.

Answer:	Its meant to work as a sustain pedal. Not sure if can be used as a drum trigger for kick bass or cymbals.

Answer:	Yes, because it has a polarity switch on the bottom and can be switched from "NO" normally open to "NC" normally closed, it basically allows it to be compatible with all keyboards.

Answer:	As long as you have a sustain pedal input, then it should work. It works on my casio ctk-900 model as well as other casio models. It also works with Roland, Yamaha, Korg. It's basically a universal pedal. It works with everything, even midi keyboard controllers!
Question:	Will this work on the roll up key board
Answer:	I'm not familiar with a "roll up" keyboard, but we use it on a Yamaha keyboard and it works great. As long as you have a sustain connection on the back of your keyboard you shouldn't have a problem
