10 best cherub keyboard pianos
A Cherub keyboard piano is a type of musical instrument accessory designed to enhance the functionality and performance of electronic keyboards and digital pianos. Cherub is a well-known brand that produces a range of musical accessories, including keyboard-related products. Here's what you need to know about Cherub keyboard pianos:
Keyboard Pedals: Cherub offers a variety of pedals and footswitches designed to work with electronic keyboards and digital pianos. These pedals are often used to emulate the sustain, soft, and sostenuto pedals found on traditional acoustic pianos. They allow keyboard players to achieve expressive and dynamic playing styles.
Sustain Pedals: Sustain pedals are one of the most common Cherub keyboard piano accessories. They function similarly to the sustain pedal on a traditional piano, allowing notes to sustain and ring out after they are played. This can add depth and emotion to your keyboard performances.
Soft Pedals: Soft pedals are used to create a softer and quieter sound on electronic keyboards. When engaged, they reduce the volume and intensity of the notes played, mimicking the function of the soft pedal on an acoustic piano.
Sostenuto Pedals: Sostenuto pedals allow specific notes to sustain while others do not. This feature is especially useful for complex pieces of music where you want to sustain specific chords or notes while playing others staccato.
Expression Pedals: Cherub also manufactures expression pedals that can be used to control various parameters on a keyboard, such as volume, modulation, or pitch bend. These pedals offer greater control and versatility in shaping your keyboard's sound.
Durability and Compatibility: Cherub keyboard pedals are typically designed to be durable and withstand the rigors of regular use. They are often compatible with a wide range of keyboard brands and models, making them a versatile choice for musicians.
Wired and Wireless Options: Cherub offers both wired and wireless options for their keyboard pedals, allowing you to choose the setup that best suits your needs and preferences.
When considering a Cherub keyboard piano accessory, be sure to check the compatibility with your specific keyboard model and consider your playing style and musical needs. Cherub products are generally well-regarded for their quality and affordability, making them a popular choice among keyboardists and pianists looking to enhance their playing experience.

Brushstrokes: Acrylic: Effortless painting with minimal tools and materials
I have been an artist for the past 12 years and am mostly self-taught. I started out painting abstract art, inspired by the teachings of German-American painter Hans Hofmann (1880-1966). Soon, I decided to paint more realistic subjects, but the bold brushstrokes from my abstract days carried over into my paintings. I enjoy this adventurous style of painting, as it shows off my personality and unique style.
If you are new to painting, the techniques in this book are a perfect way to get started. If you are experienced with acrylic painting, try experimenting with thick brushstrokes as a way to loosen up your style.
Why paint with acrylic paint?
Acrylic paint is water-soluble, making it a great choice for beginners and those intimidated by the solvents and precautions necessary when working with oil paint. Modern acrylic paints come in all of the traditional colors, as well as a variety of bright, modern colors.
Acrylic paint also dries quickly, allowing beginning and experienced painters alike to finish a project that can be displayed the very same day.
Why paint with bold brushstrokes?
You won’t spend days waiting for layers of paint to dry or tediously working an area with a fine-tipped paintbrush. Instead, you can work fast and spontaneously.
Painting should be relaxing and fun! With thick, confident brushstrokes, you can complete a painting in less than an hour or two and be proud of the piece you’ve accomplished.
So, let’s get started!
Cat Portrait
For portraits, it’s common and traditional to use a vertical canvas. Animals are a great way to introduce the basics of portraiture to beginning artists. Feel free to experiment with different markings and colors to make your painting more personal.
Stack of Bowls
The patterns on this stack of dipping bowls will help us practice shadows, highlights, and reflections. The top two bowls are loosely stacked and almost wobbly, which creates a nice tension and realism in this still life.
Red Poppies
For this project, we will paint a more complex still life of red poppies in a blue vase. Fluid paints come in bottles instead of tubes and are runnier. If you cannot find them, water down your tubes of black and crimson paint on the palette.
A-B-C Key Stickers
These small stickers attach to any size keyboard in seconds, quickly giving players an easy way to see which keys translate to which note names. Inexpensive and self-adhesive, you can even reuse these stickers. Millions have learned to play music with this note-naming system. Are you next?
Polarity Switch for different keyboards
Setting the polarity switch to N.O. or N.C., WTB-005 fits any keyboard.
Chrome Foot Pedal
Chrome plated metal pedal, high strength plastic shell, sturdy and durable
Rubber Bottom
Rubber bottom grips the floor while you play. 1.5m cable with 1/4-inch jack.
- Classic-style sustain pedal for use with any electronic keyboard, synth, digital piano.
- High-quality chrome foot pedal with Rubberized cover.
- Slip-resistant rubber bottom grips the floor to keep the pedal perfectly in place.
- Designed to work and feel just like acoustic piano's sustain pedal, enrich your Pianos Tone.
- 1.6M (63 inch) cable keeps your pedal where you want it ; 1/4″ Jack Input; 6 months warranty.
User questions & answers
Question: | Does it work with the presonus piano |
Answer: | The Yamaha clp 300 has pedals, not sure why you would need to add another sustain pedal. Not 100% sure but do not think this will work. |
Question: | does it work with the casio wk |
Answer: | Try taking the plug out of the jack and pushing it back in a few times. Try using it in a known good keyboard that you or a friend has or at a local store. There are screws at the bottom of the pedal. Open it up and see if any connections are loose. Your jack could be shorting on your keyboard. But I would definitely try using a known good keyboard before giving up on it. Hey, they're made overseas; so... |
Question: | does it work with williams legato |
Answer: | It's important to have the pedal plugged in before you turn the keyboard on. Try disconnecting everything, plug in pedal, then plug in keyboard. Hopefully this will correct the problem. This should reverse the sustain polarity. Good luck. |
Question: | is this compatible with Casio LK-170 keyboards |
Answer: | No. This pedal will work with most keyboard makes. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this pedal work with all Korg keyboards |
Answer: | The pedal has reversible polarity, so it will work with all keyboards. |
Question: | Does this pedal have a gradient on the sensitivity for the sustain, OR is it an on/off sustain switch |
Answer: | It appears this is a simple on/off switch pedal. For continuous or gradient performance the phrases to look for in sustain pedal description are "half-damper" or "half-pedaling." If there is no indication by the manufacturer of one of those descriptions, the pedal is just an on/off switch. If your digital piano or electronic keyboard supports half-damper, then a half-damper pedal varies the nature of the sustain effect based on how far down you depress the pedal. The only half-damper pedals I have found so are the Yamaha FC3A, Roland DP-10, and Korg DS1H. The half-damper effect emulates the action on an acoustic piano of lifting the felt damping pads only part way off of the strings. |
Question: | Where is the cable of the pedal |
Answer: | its permanently attached to the pedal. |
Question: | For a while, my pedal sustained when NOT depressed, sort of a reverse functionality, which I actually appreciated...but can't replicate. Anyone else |
Answer: | According to the FAQ on the manufacturer's web site (for the SP-Double and SP-Triple), ¨Are the pedals switchable? The pedals will not have a switch to change polarity and will operate as normally open. This means that the pedal will send a value of 0 when up and a value of 127 when pressed down all the way. Different manufacturers may program their keyboards to respond to the opposite (127 when up, 0 when down) and to combat this some pedals may come with a switch to change the polarity of the pedal to match that of the keyboard. Typically, though there are ways around this without the need for the switch.¨ (The article is on the manufacture's website at: http://m-audio.com/kb/article/1967 ) |

User questions & answers
Question: | Compatible with Casio PX-110? want a quiet foot pedal that will last |
Answer: | I have a Yamaha and play professionally, this is the only pedal I ever use. It has a switch on the side which should make it compatible with any keyboard. |
Question: | Does it work with yamaha P |
Answer: | I have a P-45, and bought a Roland DP10 thinking that I would use it for half damping on the P-45. But it did not work that way. Even though both Roland and Yamaha digital pianos are designed to work with 'normally closed' third party pedals, the Roland DP-10 for some reason works only as an 'on/off' switch, and not as a continuously variable sustain / damper pedal as it is intended to be by Roland, when connected to a Yamaha P-45. |
Question: | Will this pedal work with a Kurzweil PC |
Answer: | It is compatible with any keyboard that is half damper capable. Check your manual to see if it is. If your keyboard is compatible, Buy it. Extremely well made pedal !!!! |
Question: | Will this work with the Rolland Go Keys |
Answer: | I'm using this with an FP-10. Go Keys has a 1/4" pedal input jack, so it *should* work with the Go Keys. |
