I want to make clear that we have not designed a protocol of rejuvenation with those kind of batteries, and do not endorse that kind of use. Question:	Can i reset the comfort range? 79 degrees f is much too high to be comfortable imo
Answer:	Actually the temp does have a bearing on the comfort indicator as amorina states. It will need to be a minimum of 20 degrees and between 50 and 70% humidity to indicate as comfortable. I agree with you that this is a little high and perhaps 18 would be ok. Other sources state that 40% humidity is ideal so who knows!I think just go with what feels right. In answer to your question though unfortunately the comfort range can not be reset or altered.

Answer:	In China. I bought 3 of them, but don't find them useful. The setting for humid, dry, comfort is inaccurate for a relativity level reading in a home environment. At least in the Midwest region. They say 49% is dry when in fact it's too much for a home to carry, at least in the winter colder temps.
Question:	Has anyone had this long enough to know if the battery will last at least one year
Answer:	This is probably too late to be of use to the original poster, but maybe it will help someone. I purchased mine in March of '17 and the unit just died on me this past weekend, I was still using the original battery. I changed the battery and the thermometer was still dead, but that's less than $10 for nearly 2 years of service on a single battery.

Answer:	Calibrate means that you adjust your measuring tool (e.g. thermometer, hygrometer, speedometer, etc.) to give a known value when it's measuring (detecting) that value; you usually do this by adjusting a screw or other mechanism that results in the unit showing a 'reading', or measurement, of that known value on its display or output. This unit does NOT have any calibration adjustment.

Answer:	Never tried in the dark, it supposed to do it.

Answer:	It doesn't attach to the wall. You just hold it against the wall. You can choose between having it measure from the bottom or the top (where the beam comes out). This is strictly for measuring, not leveling.
Question:	Why did the tips come of both meters I bought
Answer:	It is 5" long, about 2" wide, and about 1" thick. I am quite happy with this device. I use it to measure houses for architectural documentation.
Question:	Does it have to be left in the pot, or can it be used for testing several potted plants? How long does it take to give a reading
Answer:	I think, and this is just me... the smallest should be about the same size as the red laser dot of the equipment. The principle is to get a reflection (reflective tape) from the tape back to the tachometer. But since the router shaft diameter is so small, you are free to make adjustments, experiments or your imaginations to do it.

Answer:	Thank you for your excellent question. The pH of the water can affect your results. In areas that have excessively hard water (water with lots of minerals in it), the pH of the water will be strongly alkaline (pH of 8.5 and higher), and this can impact the reading you will get from your Garden Tutor Soil pH Test Strips. The impact is typically about .5 of a point for pH, but the drift can be up to 1 point. For most gardeners getting a pH reading within .5 of a point is sufficient. Most municipal tap water has a pH of 6.5 to 8.5, so using tap water will be OK but may cause your reading to be off about .5 of a point. If you want to get the best reading possible from your test strips, it's a good idea to use fresh unopened distilled water. You can check the manufacturing date on the unopened distilled water container, and if it is under 30 days old, it should be about a 7.0 pH. When using distilled water, you can be assured that you will be getting the most accurate soil pH reading possible. One of the main reasons distilled water is used for soil pH testing is that it has a low "buffer capacity" and will not meaningfully impact the actual pH reading of a soil sample. It is important to note that the Garden Tutor Soil pH Test Strips are calibrated for soil testing only, so just dipping the test strips into straight water won't give you an accurate pH reading of the water. Question:	can this one find leaks in roof and celing
Answer:	Yes it does. It features 8 separate scales (A-H) to use with different types of wood.A scale is for red oak and white oak. If you can't find the exact scale when you test other woods,you could choose the close wood scale, the result also is accurate
Question:	Does icome with extra pins
Answer:	My pin protectors were snug fitting but with a slight twist easily removed. If you have never removed the plastic protectors, contact supplier. May have been accidentally glued onto the sharp pins.
Question:	Where is this product made
Answer:	It can be used on masonry. The pins are strong, but they do not need to "poke through". If by "concrete walls" you mean a block wall, then this meter should work well. If you mean poured concrete, understand that all concrete cracks and water, if it seems, seeps through the cracks. Otherwise concrete is pretty much impermeable
Question:	What is your homes average moisture for drywall? My home has water damage throughout the home so I dont have a baseline reference. Thanks
Answer:	You are quite observant, there is no "J" setting on the moisture tester. When I look at the species listed on back of instruction sheet, those labeled "J" seem to be rather rare or exotic species. If you have one of these species, use a setting of say "H" and note moisture reading. Basically you are looking at relative moisture levels over time.

Answer:	You just have to make contact, no need to poke holes. You're measuring impedance, so all you need is good ELECTRICAL contact, which is achieved with just light pressure holding both pins against the surface. Pushing the pins into the wood guarantees good contact, of course, but all you need to get an accurate reading is light pressure that ensures both metal pins touch the surface.
