Answer:	Mine came shipped in just the guitar box with the guitar inside. There was no external box and the internal packing was minimal at best. As a result of the shipping, the box was damaged and so was the guitar. I sent it back and am waiting on the replacement.

Answer:	No, it does not come with a case or a gig bag. But it is a great guitar for the money-very playable. I recommend the Gator Pro-Go Series Gator G-PG Acoustic Gig Bag. IMO, it's the best on the market for the money. Well padded, with a lot of pockets, micro-fleece lining, backpack straps and many other features. It's worth the money to protect your instrument.

Answer:	It is my understanding that Takamine is a Japanese company but the G Series is made in China at a much lower cost. The professional line that is made in Japan start at well North of $1,000 and go up. Having said that it is still a very nice solid guitar with a nice sound. It seems to be a good intermediate level guitar.

Bracing Styles
