Answer:	Give yourself about 6’ by 6’ to be sure you or your kid are comfortable...

Answer:	For Xbox One and Rock Band 4 you will need an Xbox 360 MIDI adapter and a PDP Wired Legacy Adapter, the latter of which is about $700 due to its rarity. For Xbox 360 and Rock Band 1-3, you just need the MIDI adapter mentioned previously. The MIDI out on the drums plugs into the MIDI in on the adapter, the adapter plugs into the Xbox (or PDP wired legacy adapter for Xbox One) via USB, and then you set specific MIDI notes to the pads via the Alesis module or use a pre-existing setup that works.
Question:	What kind of acessories do I have to buy to have the set operational? I mean cables, amp and things like this
Answer:	Throne (drum seat), pair of headphones with 1/4" jack or more likely a normal pair of 1/8" headphones + an 1/8" to 1/4" adapter (less than $10 on Amazon. Since this has seperate L and R outputs, I also got a dual L/R 1/4" to single 1/8" steareo adapter to ensure it plays in both ears. Also, I would highly suggest an amp whether or not you plan on using headphones. This thing is very low power and sound is very soft with headohones--plug kit into amp and headphones into amp headphone output.
Question:	I cannot place the new model side-by-side and compare. What’s the difference between them

Answer:	I guess I have a different opinion of these bongo drums. They sound ok, but I think some of the drums made for younger kids sound MUCH better. I wanted to like them but found the sound to be lacking and graphics kind of cheap. My 2 year old loves drumming things around the house and said "bongo drums" pretty early, but when he got these drums he was disappointed by the sound and quickly moved on to a table to resume drumming. I believe he got more enjoyment from the box.I see they're now selling for $18. I spent $30. Not worth $30.
Question:	Why isn't the hi hat pedal shown on example
Answer:	The stick it comes with is kind of loud. My daughter uses her hands (we lost stick) and it doesn't bother me a bit. This drum is awesome!!! It's so durable. They should love you for getting such an amazing gift! My 2 year old loves it and so do my 6 and 8 year old nieces.

Answer:	Hi Kyle, The reason for this is that bass drum pedals and/or hihat stands are considered personal items for most all drummers. There are many brands/styles to choose from, and every player seems to be partial to one style over the other, or they may already have these items if they have been playing drums for some time. Roland designed the V-Drums so they would be compatible with most all kick pedals (including double pedals) and hihat stands and don't want to force the customer to use custom, proprietary pedals/stands. Also, when purchasing an acoustic drum set, most all of them do not include hardware, or even cymbals. Answer:	The Nitro DM6 Kick Tower does not work well with double kick pedals. It only triggers in the center of the pad and base design is too narrow to properly adjust pedal position. I use my Yamaha KP65 for double kick action. Great bounce back, excellent triggering and plugs right in the Nitro Kit.

Answer:	I cannot get the Turbo Mesh kit hi-hat pedal to work with Garageband. I have contacted Alesis tech support to no avail. When I file a ticket, I get an email a day or so later stating that the case has been closed asking how my service was. In Garageband, it recognizes when I press the pedal, but only momentarily. If I strike the hi-hat with the pedal open and then close it, the cymbal will be choked, but only momentarily at the initial pedal depression. After that, the hi-hat remains open. I have searched the internet for solutions to no avail, either. All of the other drums trigger correctly.

Answer:	Yes, I bought this at the same as the drum set and added it as a 2nd floor tom/4th rack tom. It works great and plugged right in.

Answer:	the basis kit comes fully loaded and is awesome you can add one more drum and one more cymbal for extra fun ..... but the add on is crazy expensive

Answer:	The pad will work with the DM6 and many other e drum kits. The included clamp is for the Alesis Nitro rack, which is 1 1/8". Most racks, like the DM6, use 1.5" clamps. Since this isn't set up like your typical drum kit, getting used to the feel of a full drum kit wouldn't be possible with the CompactKit 4, but this product is excellent for practicing your timing as a drummer, as well as getting familiar with playing patterns. The 4 top would be good for someone trying to learn the bare basics, but the 7 top may be a lot more useful for an 8 year old who may be adamant about practicing and learning drums. Answer:	They are NOT dual zone. The snare is dual zone. The toms are single zone.
Question:	Does this come with a midi to usb cable to hook up to your pc
Answer:	This is not compatible with MIDI. I tried it and it doesn’t work with any software. Some investigation revealed that it doesn’t comply to the MIDI spec (never sends note off) so it can’t work with any software.
