I personally just use on my feet and underarms (instead of deodorents laced with Aluminum).

Answer:	These are very small, half the size of a wash cloth. I use them to was my face. They haven't shed for me. They should be washed prior to use due to some dye run off. They are very nice for dishes and very soft for face cleaning.
