13 best guitar floor multieffects
Guitar floor multi-effects units are devices used by guitarists to shape and enhance their sound. They are versatile tools that offer a wide range of effects and can often replace multiple individual pedals. Here's what you should know about them:
All-in-One Solution: Floor multi-effects units integrate various effects like distortions, modulations (chorus, flanger, phaser), delays, reverbs, and more into a single unit. This allows for a streamlined setup and reduces the need for multiple individual pedals.
Presets and Programmability: They often come with preset settings that allow you to switch between different combinations of effects with a single footswitch. Many also allow you to create your own custom presets.
Versatility: These units can emulate the sounds of various classic amplifiers, cabinets, and effects pedals. This versatility makes them popular among guitarists who want to explore different tones and styles.
Digital Processing: Floor multi-effects units use digital processing to recreate the sounds of various analog effects. This allows for a wide range of sonic possibilities and precise control over your tone.
Expression Pedals: Many floor multi-effects units come with built-in expression pedals. These can be assigned to control parameters like volume, wah-wah, or modulation depth in real-time.
I/O Options: They typically have a range of input and output options, including instrument input, amp output, headphone jacks, and often even USB connectivity for recording and editing.
Compatibility with Amps and PA Systems: They can be used in various setups. You can run them directly into an amplifier or through a PA system, making them suitable for both live performances and studio recording.
Built-In Tuners and Metronomes: Some units include tuners and metronomes, providing practical tools for tuning your guitar and keeping time while practicing.
LCD Screens and User Interfaces: Many modern units feature intuitive interfaces with LCD screens that allow for easy navigation through the various settings and effects.
Updates and Firmware: Manufacturers often release firmware updates that can add new features, effects, or improve the performance of the unit over time.
Brands and Models: There are several well-known brands that produce high-quality floor multi-effects units, including Line 6, Boss, Zoom, TC Electronic, and more. Each brand offers a range of models with different features and capabilities.
Power Supply: They typically require a power source, either from an AC adapter or sometimes they can be battery-powered for portability.
Remember that the best floor multi-effects unit for you will depend on your specific needs, preferences, and musical style. It's a good idea to try out different models and read reviews to find one that suits your playing style and requirements.

Q: How can I connect the device to iPhone or IPad for the use of software effects, such as Bias Fx, Jam up?
A: We need a cable called iOS OTG cable to connect the standard USB plug with the connector. After connecting, enable the MIDI control in the Apps. It can work together with any other audio interface to use software effects, you can connect by a USB Hub to join the audio interface and the MIDI Commander. Another way is connecting to the audio interface through the MIDI IN jack (Such as TS MINi in Tone Shifter Series).
Q: How do I program the switches for banks after the first one as there only seems to be one set of settings, one for each switch?
A: MIDI control can be achieved if the command number in the app is consistent with the command number set by our customization. In the current version, each footswitch can only send one set command in the custom mode. In bank1, footswitch A to send 01; switch to bank 2 and footswitch A to send 01 again.
Q: Can I send a cc number, and value at the same time? For example, cc#69, value: 2. this is required to change “snapshots” in helix native.
A: The midi commander doesn't have the function now.
Q: Is this possible to have the midi commander send JUST midi notes to a program in the custom setting?
A: It is not possible so far. Only CC# or PC# can be sent by the midi commander.
Q: Is there a way to set a custom value instead of 0-127 for each switch? I've tried to remove toggle but it just went to 127?
A: We are sorry that now it just support 0-127.For the further function, we need further system update.

User questions & answers
Question: | It has amp simulators? I play live and I don't have an amp, I just connect "direct", would it work well |
Answer: | I believe it is 15. Dont quote me on it but I believe it's 15...And you will most definitely need to use a power supply with this particular pedal...I use a One Spot for my 3 pedals....It's just easier on the mind knowing its down there whenever I'm gigging....Question in return, ,,Do you Definately want digital as opposed to analog?... |
Question: | Can I run the preamps through my real tube amp with no problems or is that only for amp simulation for without a amp? Don’t want to mess up my amp |
Answer: | Yes the delay pedal can run on a 9V battery |
Question: | Can you bypass the amp simulations and just use the different effects pedals |
Answer: | Yes it can self oscillate. And with the dirty repeats it sounds amazing. Joyo did an amazing job on this pedal. But it shouldn't be called a digital delay. It has dirty tape echo with warm repeats. Sounds kinda like a eh memory boy Without all the bells and whistles. I've bought 2 of these because I likes it so much and wanted to use them in unison for different timings. |
Question: | Does this have a looping feature? If so, what is the maximum length of the loop that can be created |
Answer: | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fj5AgDItbl0 Please click the link and you can find the video, hope you like our wireless system, thank you! |

ME-80 Guitar Multiple Effects Processor
Mobile, battery powered, and filled with a diverse selection of flagship-quality BOSS amps and effects, the ME-80 is the ideal compact tone processor for performing guitarists. A friendly knob-based interface makes it simple to dial in great sounds in seconds, while easily selectable operation modes offer the flexibility of individual stompbox-style on/off or instant recall of complex multi-effects setups. Unique new footswitches deliver twice the control of previous designs for efficient and intuitive effects switching, patch selection, and real-time sound shaping while playing on stage. The free BOSS TONE STUDIO software unlocks even more tonal possibilities, providing a cool graphical interface for tweaking and organizing sounds on your computer, plus a web connection to BOSS TONE CENTRAL for direct access to free gig-ready patches created by top pro guitarists and much more.
A Huge Selection of BOSS Effects in One Pedal
No matter what style you play, it’s easy to craft your own personal sound with the ME-80’s wide range of built-in effects. A complete history of gig-ready BOSS tone processing is at your command, from multiple overdrives and distortions to wahs, mod effects, pitch shifters, delays, and beyond. BOSS’ groundbreaking Multi Dimensional Processing (MDP) technology is represented with the unique, spacious ambience of Tera Echo and the distinctive tone-shaping possibilities of Overtone. Updated COSM preamps include new additions such as Crunch and Metal, plus an AC preamp designed for acoustic/electric guitar. The onboard expression pedal can be used for foot volume and pedal effects like wah, octave shift, and Freeze, and it’s also possible to control effects parameters such as mod rate, delay oscillation, and more for expressive real-time sound shaping.
Instant Gratification with Dedicated Knobs
Unlike typical menu-driven multi-effects processors that are complicated and unintuitive, using the ME-80 is as easy as using a stompbox. Effects are organized into eight logical categories that can all be active at the same time. Seven categories contain multiple effects types to choose from, plus dedicated knobs for selecting a type and adjusting it with a set of parameters you’d find in the pedal version of the effect. The Pedal FX category has its own knob for quickly assigning a particular effects type or function to be controlled by foot with the expression pedal. With this familiar and friendly interface, you’re able to dial up and play great tones instantly, just like using a large pedalboard filled with your favorite stomps. But a major advantage over that pedalboard is that you can to save all the current knob settings to one of the ME-80’s 36 user patch locations, allowing you to recall custom effects configurations at the touch of a pedal.
Stompbox Immediacy or Multi-FX Power: You Decide
The hands-on experience that stompbox control provides is perfect for tweaking tones as you go. However, there are times when switching among an entire group of preset effects is more efficient, such as when you’ve set up complex tones for different songs. The flexible ME-80 supports either approach, giving you the best of worlds. In Manual mode, the categories function like individual stomp effects, with instant adjustment via the panel knobs and on/off control with dedicated footswitches. By entering Memory mode, seven footswitches are automatically reconfigured to select user or preset patches and patch banks, letting you recall complete multi-effects setups directly. One footswitch on the ME-80 is dedicated just for mode switching, so you can toggle between Manual and Memory modes any time you want, even in the middle of a song.
New Footswitch Design Delivers Twice the Control
The ME-80 offers easy usability while performing, with eight multifunction footswitches for direct control of effects on/off, bank/patch selection, and mode switching, plus convenient access to alternate functions such as tap tempo, tuner, looper control, and more. A special control (CTL) function is also assignable in each patch, letting you toggle grouped effects on/off or adjust a specified parameter in real time. The newly developed footswitch style provides two switches in the space occupied by one in previous designs, allowing BOSS to equip the ME-80 with a generous array of foot-operated controls while keeping the unit extremely compact and mobile. In addition to the eight main footswitches, the expression pedal is equipped with an integrated toe switch that toggles between foot volume and the current Pedal FX setting.

User questions & answers
Question: | Work with zoom ms50g |
Answer: | I don't know all the differences but the main ones are: with the XT you can program your own custom routing options, connecting anything you have plugged in to anything else. You can call up these presets you've made using MIDI patch change. The other thing is it adds various sync options SMPTE synchronization in all formats, and master/slave MIDI Machine Control, transport control. The other interesting thing this one can do is take an audio click input and convert it into MIDI data. I haven't used an XT so I can't say how all that works, but they make good stuff. I'm currently using the 128 and it works great for what I need it for, but looking at what the XT does I'm considering getting one. If money is a factor and you don't need the options the XT gives you then the 128 is a solid 8x8, 128 channel box that'll get your DIN MIDI keyboards/devices into your DAW via its USB and do it easily with no fussing about. Good luck! |
Question: | Is dunlop cry baby wah pedal compatible with meloaudio midi controller |
Answer: | Not 100% soundproof and depending on how loud you like your music is the factor at hand. If you want good sound canceling headphones for travel I have the Sony 1000xm3's but even those have their limits. |
Question: | Does this need an apple certified lightning to usb camera kit or will an aftermarket one from amazon work |
Answer: | The 250 Ohm version is really specialist gear for studio monitoring. I have the 80 Ohm version because I just use them with my PC: less impedance means less need for a headphone amp. |
Question: | I can’t join manufacture web site. why |
Answer: | While I just sold my minty used pair for $150, I cannot measure them. I have large ears 67mm top to bottom and they fit. One of the few headphones that do fit my ears. A post on head-fi shows the following dimensions supposedly for inside cup. Height. 80mm, Width. 50mm Depth. 25mm |

User questions & answers
Question: | Amazon shows the unit to be 17.36 lbs, making it heavier than the much larger pod hd 500x!!! is this unit truly 17.36 lbs |
Answer: | I own a Line 6 Pod Go, and it weighs just a little over 5 lbs. I have no idea where they’re getting that 17.36 lb weight from. Even packaged up in the box it doesn’t weight that much. It’s a great lightweight unit with a heavyweight sound! |
Question: | Does it come with a built-in metronome |
Answer: | No, it does not have a metronome. |
Question: | Can this be used to control perameters on a DAW |
Answer: | No, the Pod Go does not have hotkey features. For hotkeys, I suggest checking out the Helix, Helix LT, or Helix Rack(with Rack Control). |
Question: | Can you plug in a microphone for singing while playing |
Answer: | No, it does not have a mic input for a second channel. You may want to check out the Line 6 Helix for an additional mic input. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the power adapter works just for 110V or it is universal |
Answer: | Yes you can . If your going to do that you will have to cut down the (shaft that comes out of the pole) .Its about the same lainth as the base pole |
Question: | What's the difference between the G3 and G3n |
Answer: | No...it does not include a gambrel |
Question: | Is it limited to 4 parameters/knobs per effect? Or are there multiple pages of parameters for some fx |
Answer: | Each leg is two pieces that fit together with heavy duty pins, so yes it can be broken down really easy. I keep mine outside though as it is powder coated. I have never had a problem with it. Its been great, I also use it to jack up my zero turn mower so I can get under it to change the mower blades although I doubt that's recommended :) Steel cable and crank works as expected and can hold a lot of weight. Well worth the money. |
Question: | Can I plug my laptop in the Aux input and my earphones in the phones output and play along with the backtracks on my laptop |
Answer: | we haven't used it yet but in the description it states 500 pounds |

GT-100 COSM Amp Effects Processor
With the new GT-100 Version 2.0 update, BOSS’ high-end multi-effects processor is now even more powerful than before, adding a host of great new features to its already formidable arsenal. Two new amp types are included, along with cutting-edge MDP effects, an acoustic guitar simulator, and an improved rotary effect. A convenient Guitar-to-MIDI function is on board as well, letting you connect to a computer to play soft synths and input MIDI note using your normal guitar. The GT-100’s USB audio capabilities have been expanded too, providing greater flexibility for re-amping applications. And with the BOSS TONE STUDIO software, you can now edit GT-100 patches from a friendly graphical interface on your computer.
Advanced COSM Amps: Beyond Vintage
Recreating the meticulous details of vintage amps and how they behave, the GT-100 excels in not only cloning classic amps, but in creating a new world of unimagined tones as well. The Amp Customize function lets you mutate classic amps beyond reality to construct completely new, unimagined sounds!
The GT-100’s unique dual-LCD and eight-knob user interface provides fast access and intuitive control. There are no menus to navigate; every function is instantly available. The tone-customizing functionality has been improved as well—all patches, amps, and overdrives/distortions can be created from scratch and/or customized with the friendly graphical Tone Grid.
A/B Channel Divider Function
With its next-generation COSM processor, the GT-100 ushers in a new era of expression and sonic capabilities. Another notable feature in the GT-100 is the versatile A/B Channel Divider. This lets you assign different amps and effects to each channel, either for blending together or switching between them with a footswitch. Going even further, you also have the ability to switch channels by playing strength or frequency range. With each channel capable of driving its own effects and amps settings, the range of tones gets wider and wilder! You can assign smooth, mild lead tones to the mid-to-high pitches, for example, and heavy, cutting tones to the lower notes—the tonal possibilities are endless.
Edit and Organize Sounds with BOSS TONE STUDIO
Available as a free download for Mac or Windows, BOSS TONE STUDIO gives you an intuitive graphical interface for creating and editing GT-100* effects patches from your computer via USB. Question: | Can you connect another pedal to it |
Answer: | Please visit the NUX official website and contact the nux USA office. call them and ask for help or the replacement. Or you can send messgae to the store you bought it, they will help you to solve the problem. thanks |
Question: | How to save the madeup loops for later stage use and how to record it on sd card |
Answer: | rechargeable Li-battery inside. |
Question: | How much record time on looper |
Answer: | The amp sounds like it's instantaneous to me. I am usually within 20 feet of the amp - wireless or direct in. That number could be a max based upon the conditions while using the wireless. All wireless systems have a delay. Metal roofs, distance to the receiver, electrical interference, etc. can all cause response time increases. I've experienced high delay times with $700+ wireless systems in bad conditions. |
Question: | Can i use the sd card to record my music or how do i record my music? thank you |
Answer: | using the dongle that comes with the amp, I have not experienced any latency issues. Bluetooth is used to for phone connection not instrument. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can you run a bass through this board? Already have it, and I only will play bass for a gig |
Answer: | It comes with two actually |
Question: | Will this work on a line 6 amplifier |
Answer: | No. It works with the power supply for most guitar pedals. |
Question: | Does this pedal have a built in guitar tuner |
Answer: | More or less yes, BUT I'd 100% recommend grabbing the empress reverb if you're really just after a plug and play reverb pedal. You'll more easily have way more reverb capabilities with the empress reverb and it is by far my favorite reverb pedal on the market. You will not regret buying the reverb by itself (don't think "the zoia can do everything so I don't want to buy a reverb if it's redundant") the zoia can do everything, but the reverb is such a great standalone pedal and is a lot more "plug and play" than the zoia |
Question: | Is this a "Stereo" Pedal. w/ Ping Pong type delay |
Answer: | Amazon, or direct from char broil |
