Answer:	Seller is incorrect and the description is partially misleading. The 10 port is not 60 watts and not 5 amps. It is 48 watts and 4 amps. It works well for most things but doesn't work at all with some of my HDD drives that depend solely on the USB ports for power. When I unplug the drive and plug directly into my laptop USB 3 ports, the drives work fine. All USB flash drives have worked very well. My USB powered external DVD player also won't work. I am thinking about returning the 10 port and trying the 16 port for the additional 42 watts / 3.5 amps. I run two laptops thru a KVM switch and I've had the drives working thru an old USB 2 hub but at a much lower speed. I've switched everything else off and still can't get the DVD to run on the 10 port. I bought this solely based on the 60 watt rating and the seller's comment verifying that it is 5 amps. Answer:	The ports do not light up. It is the small pin holes in front of the port sites that light up in a blue color.

Answer:	I just bought and tested the 10-port hub. It does NOT work **at all** without the power supply also plugged in. I'm returning it as a result, because I am using it to program super-low-power microcontrollers and don't want the hassle of having to also plug in the power supply for this purpose. Also, the power supply cable is 4 ft long, NOT The advertised 10 ft long. That makes me grumpy. I shall continue my search for a 10-port hub which does NOT require the power supply plugged in to power a single 10mA device.

Question:	Why is my Daughter complaining that her phone stops charging overnight
Answer:	This is an external powered USB hub with individual port power control. If you're hooked up to a computer and you power off the system at night then the USB hub is not getting an "on" signal. This is not a wall plug phone charger, it requires an input source to be active, not just external power.
Question:	Does it work if the power adapter is not plugged into the wall
Answer:	I just tested mine and it works without the AC adapter connected. I'm not sure it would handle powering 7 devices along with the charging port though.
Question:	Can it be used only with the pc usb? or always need to be connected to the electrical outlet
Answer:	It depends on what type of USB port your laptop has (this dictates the maximum power transmission capacity) and how much demand you're placing on the device. If it's a bunch of small things like BT dongles and small flash USB/SD drives, it may power them all. If you use an external HDD or SSD (some are built to be that from the start, the rest can be converted to one via a USB enclosure), especially the 3.5 inch varieties which standard desktop towers use, you are far more likely to have power shortages. For example, my SSD/HDDs will beep when attached to a hub and cannot be loaded by the PC, if I use two at a time and I don't attach some sort of external power source (or I don't use one high enough). Also, bear in mind each USB port in a hub has a maximum power transmission rate. Thus, if you use a device that consumes far less power than the listed combined max rate/power jack intake for the hub, but consumes more than what an individual port of that hub can provide, it will not work properly. This shouldn't be a concern unless you use a very high-power or high-end device. For reference, an external 2.5-inch USB external hard drive uses 0.5 amperes (also listed as 500 mAh). The standard 2.0 USB A-type ports supply at least 0.5 A.

Answer:	All upper ports can be used for data and charging. The port at the front of the hub is charging only. I run my USB desk light from the front port, and works fine. The 7 upper ports I use for things like my wireless keyboard/mouse, cell phone charging/connection to laptop. It runs my external DVD drive, and works with all ports in use at once. Works with USB 3/2 with no data loss. I will purchase a new one to replace an existing hub behind my desk. Lastly, I have gone through multiple devices like this one, and they fell apart, or failed within a year. This device has exceed my expectations.

I found the biggest boost came when using low impedance IEM’s (my Shures really sing and get a great bass boost, plus the soundstage opens up nicely). Question:	While playing from a phone, can a different phone connect by clicking the bluetooth pair button on the phone
Answer:	It cannot. I just bought one of these and it's not well designed for use by multiple people. If a phone is paired with the device, there is no way to unpair it while standing at the device. You can only unpair from the phone. Even turning the device off and back on again won't help, because it will just automatically re-pair with the last phone it was connected to. If someone else's phone was previously paired with the device, and they happen to be in the other room, you will have to go ask them in person to unpair before you'll be able to pair.
