If it wobbles you might want to use some heavy duty Velcro to anchor it more firmly. All in all it is not very difficult but you have to reverse the process in order to remove it.

Answer:	T. Howard answered you that these are chrome plated plastic not solid metal. T. Howard has another model than the 13CP 000 Soft Toilet Seat, or he is mistaken. I got this model and the hinges are undoubtedly solid metal, and they are chrome. I don't think that any chrome fixture is solid chrome, but rather chrome plated over a stronger metal, this is my belief. But, whether solid chrome, or chrome plate over a different metal, the hinges are most certainly solid metal. They ring when struck, and I do not know of a plastic on earth that will do that. Additionally they are appropriately heavy and I believe they would probably bend before they would break, though some inferior metals will shatter. I'm unwilling to hit them with a sledge-hammer to see if they will shatter. The entire visible hinge assembly is chrome. But herein lies the rub. I don't know if the seat should have come with a plastic fitting assembly and it was left out of the order I got, but without it (meaning plastic washers and adjusting tubular container for the bolt to pass through as it passes through the ceramic bowl, with a gripping plastic underside washer to go with either a metal bolt or I think preferably a large plastic adjustable gripping bolt) It seems unlikely that I would be expected to get this stuff independent of the seat, but maybe. Anyway without it the bare metal on the ceramic bowl is unworkable. I went ahead and mounted the seat with only whatever came with the seat. It stays tight for about 1 day then very rapidly begins increasingly shifting around on the bowl. I'm a bit germ-phobic and for that reason am extra unwilling to reach under and behind the toilet to awkwardly tighten the bolt again and again and again every day or two but I would not be willing to do that even if in a household with 2 men it magically remained sterile, it's just absurd, its falling-off loose all the time. I can NOT figure out how to contact this company Mayfair, to get a fix for this problem. So, yes all metal chrome hinges. And no, I'm not happy about it!

I used pieces of PVC pipe that I screwed to the seat until it did not slip side to side or front to back. The seat has built in connections so it can be attached to the toilet, but I preferred doing it with the "buffers". In general I was satisfied with this item. Question:	I need to add the toilet side safety bars which attach at the rear of the toilet in the existing holes. Will this be able to accomodate it
Answer:	This is the same Scott 1000 tissue, but we have compressed the rolls to save on space. When removed from the package the toilet paper should perform like it always has. Question:	What is difference tween medic 3 inch and the indendence 3 inch
Answer:	This is thin, cheap, industrial toilet paper. I don't know what brand it's like, because you normally see this type in public restrooms. I don't like the way it feels, but there is A LOT of it, and it doesn't cost a lot of money.

Bracket simply slides under the toilet seat hinge pin. No tools are required to install. It allows for fast, easy installation and removal of the seat. The Slip-In Bracket is supplied when you order for a standard toilet but it can be replaced with the Bolt-Down Lok-In-El for a more permanent attachment.

Bolt-Down Lok-In-El Bracket for Elongated Elevated Toilet Seats

Bracket attaches to the toilet with the toilet seat hinge bolts. It requires unscrewing the nuts and raising the seat slightly to slide in the bracket. The Bolt-Down Bracket is supplied when you order for an elongated toilet, but can also be used on a standard toilet when a more permanent attachment is desired.
