Answer:	From the instructions: By default, the audible alarm for CO2 levels exceeding set level, is set to OFF. Once ALARM is selected (by pressing ENTER), use either UP or DOWN to toggle the selection from ON to OFF or vice versa. Press ENTER one more time to confirm. A regular bell icon will be displayed if alarm is on; a silenced bell icon will appear on the screen if the alarm is set to be off.

Answer:	Yes, but not standard batteries such as AA or AAA alkaline batteries. As the web copy states: "The Autopilot APCEM2 Desktop CO2 Monitor can be powered by almost any standard USB port that provides power, such as a laptop, a wall adapter, or an external mobile battery pack (Power Bank). Battery pack not included." Search Amazon for "Power Bank" to see examples of these.

Answer:	To be clear, you specify your altitude, and that adjusts the unit's calibration to your location. You can get your altitude by searching online. Or if you have a smartphone that will show your GPS Latitude & Longitude, it may also show your altitude.

This alarm measures the exposure to carbon monoxide over time; it is designed to sound at 85 decibels at 10 feet when it detects 70 ppm (parts per million) of CO for 60 to 240 minutes, 150 ppm for 10 to 50 minutes, or 400 ppm for 4 to 15 minutes. The easily visible digital display indicates the level of CO that the unit is sensing, and it updates the status every 15 seconds for timely and accurate readings. Answer:	The alarm never went off in ours and the battery was charged when we got it. Its a 10 yr battery so I think your product is defective.

Answer:	Do the 200-Watt PSU, most people will probably use a low power APU or CPU with a low power (think low end) discrete graphics card possibly fan-less. In one application I am using this case with an AMD A4-5300 APU and 8GB of RAM, no ODD and a small 2.5-inch SSD. There is a version sold here on Amazon that includes a 300-watt power supply and surprisingly it costs less than this one and sports USB 3.0 or 2.0 (your choice)

Answer:	The device can check for TVOCs (total organic compounds dissolved in air) and PM2.5 (micron dust levels) which can indicate presence of mold but it does not specifically check for mold spores or identify the type of mold. You would need a more specific mold detection kit that would be sent to a laboratory for mold species identification via microscope.

Answer:	No, it does not check for CO (carbon monoxide). It only checks for CO2 (carbon dioxide).
Question:	Will this unit measure silica dust ppm? will test satisfy osha new silica rule for construction
Answer:	This product does measure silica dust PPM and certainly can give a good general measure of silica dust PPM. However, I would probably opt for a more expensive professional unit if you need to ensure compliance with OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica Standard for Construction. Answer:	The mold risk indicator will not detect actual mold spores in the air. However, it will tell you when the conditions in a space are at risk for mold growth. This means the Wave Mini can be used to prevent mold or to proactively watch out for the chance of mold. However, once mold has started growing and is visible, it should always be removed. This can be easily done on your own. If you are unsure if what you are seeing is mold, then use a mold test kit or contact a mold professional.

Answer:	Hello, I am unsure what you mean by cuff spring loaded like Omron models. Our cuffs are attached to the side of the monitor and can be easily removed. The cuff is wrapped around your arm and is not preformed on this model.

Answer:	My understanding is that UA-767FAC comes with the adapter. I ordered UA-767F and it doesn't have the adapter. However, the user's manual states that the adapter number is TB-233.

Fine particles (PM2.5)

PM2.5 are 2.5 micrometers in diameter or smaller, and can only be seen with an electron microscope. Fine particles are produced from all types of combustion, including motor vehicles, power plants, residential wood burning, forest fires, agricultural burning, and some industrial processes.

Answer:	As far as I am aware, no it is pre calibrated at manufacturers settings by default as far as I know

Answer:	It generally takes a while to auto calibrate each time its switched on. This is normal, its each and every time its turned off and then on as it scans and detects with sensitivity

Answer:	Hello Ken, there is no testing or monitoring for co2. This is only an oxygen meter. You must acquire a carbon dioxide meter separately from this. Hope this answers your question.
Question:	How do I check the purity level of my oxigen concentrator?I don't see where to hook up the concentrator tube
Answer:	This meter or detector measures oxygen parts in relation to other gaseous parts ie ppm. It simply detects oxygen concentration in contrast to hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide etc. It does not show or measure purity. If its oxygen...its simply oxygen if the gas has some other gases, it obviously is not pure oxygen. So the parts per million with oxygen are simply just that...pure oxygen.

1、This meter is a precise measurement instrument.To avoid damaging the meter,keep it away from water and hot objects(more than 50℃)

2、When “Battery power indicator”icon become empty is shown,means battery was empty,please charge the lithium battery,after fully charged the battery,the battery symbol will become full segment.Then you can measure the gas again.

3、When the buzzer alarm and led light up,the measure value is less than the alarming-line you have setup,so please take action to protect people's life and properly.

4、If you don't plan to use the meter for a long time,please power off the instrument and remove the battery to avoid the battery over discharge.

5、The gas sensor use in this meter is an electro-chemical gas sensor,it have two years life cycle,please keep it in clear environment,please don't touch it,it can't be replaced by end user,not in service don't list.

6、If the meter not in use,please make sure the gas sensor covered by the gas cap.

User questions & answers

Question:	Does it detect carbon monoxide levels
Answer:	If there is formaldehyde gas in the room, it will be detected after turning on the device for about one minute.
Question:	how long does each sensor last? Several sensors from M10, M1000's only last for 3 years, do that apply to this one too
Answer:	If it does, I'm not sure you can access it. There isn't a way to view it from the device itself.
Question:	Does it operate while charging? i.e. could i leave it plugged into a usb->wall outlet for continuous use as an bad air alarm
Answer:	The monitor will automatically detect gases in the air, such as CO₂, formaldehyde, and TVOC, as well as temperature and humidity. Under normal circumstances, the alarm light will display green, and if the safety standard is exceeded, it will display red.
Question:	The graph on the picture seems to be up to 96 seconds, is it capable of showing data/readings for a longer period of time
Answer:	No alarm sound. When carbon dioxide levels exceed normal, the indicator lights turn red and the facial expression becomes depressed.

Fine particles (PM2.5)

PM2.5 are 2.5 micrometers in diameter or smaller, and can only be seen with an electron microscope. Fine particles are produced from all types of combustion, including motor vehicles, power plants, residential wood burning, forest fires, agricultural burning, and some industrial processes.

Exposure to PM2.5 has multiple short term and long term health impacts. Short term include irritation in the eyes, nose and throat, coughing, sneezing and shortness of breath. A prolonged exposure to PM2.5 can cause permanent respiratory problems such as asthma, chronic bronchitis and heart disease.

Coarse dust particles (PM10)

PM10 are 2.5 to 10 micrometers in diameter. Sources include crushing or grinding operations and dust stirred up by vehicles on roads. These tiny particles which are about 30 times smaller than the width of a hair on your head are small enough to get inhaled past our defensive nose hairs and into our lungs.

Carbon Dioxide (CO₂ )

CO₂ is a greenhouse gas that is natural and harmless in small quantities but as levels rise it can be dangerous to your health. Most commonly produced by the air we exhale, CO₂ levels concentrate indoors with less ventilation.

Exposure to high carbon dioxide levels can cause:suffocation by displacement of air, incapacitation and unconsciousness, headaches, vertigo and double vision, inability to concentrate, tinnitus, seizures.

Formaldehyde (HCHO)

HCHO is a colorless, poisonous, highly water-soluble gas with an obnoxious odor. Used in the manufacture of disinfectants, preservatives, and hundreds of industrial and consumer products such as adhesives, carpeting, decorative paneling, foam insulation, drapery, fiber and particle boards, and permanent press fabrics.
