  1. Purpose:

    • Heating packs are designed to maintain the temperature of your food, keeping it warm until it's time to eat, without the need for a microwave or other heating source.
  2. Types:

    • Reusable Gel Packs: These are gel-filled packs that can be heated in the microwave or cooled in the freezer. They are placed alongside your food inside a lunch bag to provide insulation and keep your meal warm.

    • Electric Heating Packs: Some lunch bags come with built-in electric heating elements. You can plug them into a power source, and they generate heat to warm your food. These are particularly useful for longer trips.

    • Thermal Insulated Lunch Bags: These bags are designed with special insulation materials that help retain heat. They work effectively when combined with a preheated container or heating pad.

  3. Usage:

    • Electric heating packs are typically integrated into the lunch bag. You can plug them into your car's adapter or a wall outlet to warm your food. Some models even come with temperature control settings.

    • Thermal insulated lunch bags work by retaining the heat generated by your food. You can use them with containers designed to keep food warm, or you can insert a heated gel pack for extra warmth.

User questions & answers

Question: Is the red pack for hot and blue pack for cold? or either one can be used for both conditions
Answer: Large round - 7 cups - 7" round x 3" tall and large rectangle - 6 cups - 8 1/4" long x 6 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" tall. They are - oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher safe. I don't know about a toaster oven.
Question: Can these be re-used
Answer: Hi! These are just as shown in the product photo - both rectangle and rounds ones. There are nine glass containers and nine matching plastic lids. As far as the smallest (round) one, it holds one cup and is 3-3/4" in diameter. I hope that helps.
Question: How long does the pack stay warm/hot
Answer: Wash by hand - don't microwave, don't freeze, don't dishwash and they MAY last a long time. Ignore - roll the dice. I no longer do more then store and wash lids by hand. I transfer to other bowls for cooking. Best storage going, however I've grown to despise lidless bowls and paying 4 times the worth for replacements. This isn't your Pyrex from the 60 - 80's. I have borosilicate lab pyrex glassware that I couldnt break if I tried thats 50 yrs old - this aint that, lids are worse.
Question: I think I am taking the pack out too soon, for fear of popping it. How much will the pack expend
Answer: There are 9 containers and 9 lids which is 18. It’s the same with all sets of similar type including pots and pans with lids.
