Answer:	if their lead then no they cannot the seller has no idea about state laws. here in NH you cannot use lead jigheads and im just guessing here if the label has a contains lead warning then yeah not legal everywhere.

Answer:	I've also spent entirely too much time on this, but now that I've figured it out, I really like this dishwand. Vineyard girl is right. To expand on her answer, hold it with the sponge and down and lift the blue tab and just drizzle it in. Note, this only allows you to fill it up to that point, but I don't even think the handle is hollow. This may seem putsey compared to other dishwands with the screwtop handles that let you inject your dish soap at high velocity in a matter of seconds. However, it does fill quite easily compared to all the other ways I've tried! ;-)Let me state again, I really do like the dishwand.
