Answer:	I have a CRV001 Cricut that I picked up at a garage sale and it came with no instructions, cord or a name. After a little research I bought this cord and it works on mystery name machine just fine. I suggest doing a little research or getting in touch with the manufacturer for help.

Answer:	The size of your design is limited to the size of your mat. There are two mats sizes 12” x 12” and 12” x 24”. You can duplicate, rotate and fit your design in that space as many times as possible.

Answer:	tool set, other different blades, pens, scoring tool. There are a lot of accessories you can buy, but these are the ones I need to make the cards I want to.

Answer:	If you upload your own pattern (pieced together before upload to design space), and it's under 12x24, yes. So it would work for a bodice with princess seams, a gored/sectioned skirt that's under 24", cap or short sleeves, and various other smaller apparel pieces. So it wouldn't take all cutting out of the picture, but you'll get more done in the time you take since you'll be cutting multiple pieces at once. But unless they come out with longer mats, it's unlikely that it could cut pants, though shorts could be feasible.
Question:	Can it cut patterns for adult clothes like pants, skirts, blouse, shirts, etc
Answer:	Yes - I have used it in my Big Shot. However... Be sure that your cutting pads are newer (and flat) otherwise the magnetic pull isn't as strong. I used this product for my Christmas cards and after experiencing the problem above, purchased The Genius Platform system. It was wonderful, didn't cut into the cutting pads and had no issues with the magnetic platform. I would recommend this product over the Sizzix one.

Question:	Can i use with a window based computer or does it have to be a MAC
Answer:	We just got out of a Cricut class tonight, 10/14/2019) at a local Michaels. We (my wife and I) both downloaded the DesignSpace software in class from the Cricut website to our Windows 10 laptops and after downloading a small Windows add-in, were able to launch DesignSpace, create and cut projects successfully from out laptops. We also had out Apple iPads and downloaded the Apple Store DesignSpace app and had no problem using them to design and cut. Can’t speak about the Mac though...
Question:	I am looking to get my first Cricut machine. Will the faster speed matter or should I save some money and get the previous version to learn on
Answer:	The only difference between the air1 and air2 is the speed of the cut and the color options for the machines. I have the air2 and I honestly haven't even tried the faster cutting option because I've been cutting really delicate things and I was afraid that it would rip the material at a faster speed. I guess this question depends on how much you would use it and for what. I don't, by any means, think the air1 is "slow".

Answer:	Through personal experience, the Cricut Design Space software let’s you upload svg files, but not ai or eps. The best advice for cutting images from Illustrator is to use a USCutter instead, it uses a software called Sure Cuts A Lot and works with alot of file types (ai, eps, svg)

Answer:	NO. The blade that is "listed" as a fine point blade is not actually one. It is the OLD replacement blade. Please do not listen to the other replies. I work for Cricut. The regular (not deep blade) on this page is NOT for newer machines. They are for the older machines. You can use them but they will cut too deep. If you cut vinyl it will cut into the backing. Please use the german carbide blades (or the real fine point blade). The deep cut blade and housing on this page is ONLY for the Explore and Maker machines.

Answer:	Up until just now I had my doubts- No where on the packaging does it say "Maker". Just installed the blade and cut a think gel sheet. The Maker recognized it as a deep cut blade and the cut was beautiful! so relieved!

Answer:	I'm sure it's like the Silhouette which means your answer is not completely true regarding an Ipad is the only tablet. You can use a windows tablet that is not a chrome book. I have a windows tablet that is exclusively sold at Best Buy UB (Unbranded) and I use mini usb port and I bought the EEEKit Office 3-in-1 Kit from Amazon. Off topic, I also use a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse (bought from Amazon) and keyboard. Today I'm going to see if the Bluetooth adapter I bought (from Amazon) will work like this guy! Silhouette is the same as far as the kindle I believe they are kicking the app out in August. I'm #TeamSilhouette however this Cricut Explore Wireless Bluetooth, made me want to look. lol

Answer:	Hi, Lora I have not personally used one of these programs but from the information I found It does say the cartridge adjust the size of the envelope for the card you are creating. The examples I saw were for a 5-1/2" card and a 5-1/4" card.

Answer:	Yes. The easiest way to remember is the cartridges that come in a little square box require a universal overlay; the box isn't big enough for an overlay. (But, only one universal overlay for all of them; it's interchangable!) The cartridges that come in a larger, rectangular box have an overlay specific to that cartridge. Enjoy crafting!
Question:	I am new to Cricut and Cricut cartridges - what it meant by universal overlay
Answer:	Universal overlay is the rubber mat that fits over the blank keys on your cricut to tell you which cut your doing when you press that button. The older cartridges had their own overlays specific to that cartridge then they came out with a universal one that you buy separately and can be used with any of the new cartridges. Reducing the number of overlays needed. Since your new if you have a facebook join the "let's learn cricut" group-they are sooo helpful. You can also watch many videos on YouTube.

Cricut Bonded-Point Blade

Cricut Bonded-Point Blade - We all understand that you don't use fabric scissors to cut other materials, right? Reserving fabric cutters for fabric cutting prolongs their fabric-cutting life!

This blade gives you all of the functionality of the Premium Fine-Point blade, but in a distinctive pink color to match the FabricGrip Mat.

Recommended for more intricate cuts on bonded fabrics or fabrics with an iron-on backer.

Changing Cricut Blades

1. Remove the blade housing from your Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker: Open Clamp B and remove the blade housing.

2. For Fine-Point, Premium Fine-Point, Deep Point, and Deep-Cut Blades: Gently push the pin on the top of the housing and carefully pull out the blade from the bottom.

3. Remove the protective cover from the new blade.

4. Insert the new blade into the housing. The magnet in the housing will hold the new blade in place.

5. Replace the blade housing into your Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker then return the blade housing to Clamp B and close it.

Cricut Rotary Blade

The Cricut Maker Rotary Blade brings precision fabric cutting to the world of home sewing crafts for the first time. With its gliding, rolling action, this unique blade cuts through virtually any fabric quickly and accurately.

Use with fabrics and other soft, delicate, or less-dense materials, such as tissue paper and cork. Use an image size of 3/4" or larger when using the rotary blade. Smaller images than this may cause the blade to scrape as it tries to make a small turn, which may leave a gouge in your mat.

Must be used with the Rotary Blade Drive Housing. The Rotary Blade should be used with the FabricGrip Mat. The FabricGrip mat is made of a stronger, more dense material that will withstand the intense pressures of the rotary cutting process.

Answer:	No you cannot trade them in to my knowledge. I put mine cartridges in my recycle bin since my community recycles.
Question:	What is NOT in this bundle that would be good to buy along side with it as a gift
Answer:	They have different cartridges for different machines. Some will laminate. I just use mine for making stickers so it's just sticky on one side. It's also a great way to make cheap glitter paper. Just sprinkle on the sticky side and then run it back through again on the other side.
Question:	How do you obtain the digital content? There was nothing in the packet giving access to this
Answer:	Watch the videos for both the 500 and the 510, which are located with the various picture angles of these products, on the left.The 500 is simply a sticker maker, with permanent and re-postionalbe adhesive refill options.The 510 does the same, except has the ability to do more, with a variety of refills.
