Answer:	I don’t know because mine are black. They are great oven mitts though.

Answer:	no - the ones i got were made in china - and not the same as my previous set - these was thinner, smaller and not as flexible - definitely a downgrade from a set i bought on amazon a few years ago

After we shut our doors, we started thinking about what we wanted to do next and went with what was close to home. Not knowing specifics about the materials, we researched and found that cloth provides maximum heat protection (as opposed to just silicone), and vertical silicone stripes provide both a secure grip and an extra layer of protection. After we come up with a rough design, we source several manufacturers to create a prototype for us. When we have several prototypes, we look at the quality of the materials, cost, function and other factors that will ultimately effect our end user (you :-).

We make sure the product functions as we hoped it would, that it has solved our initial problem that we set out to fix in the first place and that it holds up seamlessly after many uses.

Question:	Could children use these comfortably
Answer:	I just tried it for 15 seconds and it appears that the metallic fiber side (though it may not be metallic actually) did not burn or spark but it appeared that it shriveled slightly. I would not take the chance. As another customer said " I have never put them in I usually use them to take stuff out". Why would you even want to do that, pot holders are just that, holding "hot" pots not cooking on them.
Question:	Is the shorter mitt smaller in any other way? Other than the length

Question:	Are they flexible enough to securely grab and lift off a pot cover with small, top center mounted knob
Answer:	Honestly, I never thought about this happening so looked at my pot holders, as I've laundered them also. Sure enough, the finish to the back was gone. Question: does heat resistant refer to the thickness of the hot pad, as I'm sure the batting inside is the cotton heat resistant batting. Maybe that's what is referenced to being heat resistant. The shiny backing is more of a chemical finish to that fabric, which obviously washes off. This is my best answer.
