Answer:	The weather deck unit is a face plate. I mounted it on a water proof box and fixed it to a bulkhead vertically. The unit is sealed as the name would suggest but if mounted horizontally water will pool in the control switch openings and freeze. The switch also lights up when tuned on-goes from red to green and this may not be visible if mounted on the horizontal.

Answer:	There are terminal strips that can do what you are asking about - HOWEVER, any additional splices are more resistance in the system and another failure point. The correct way to do this is to replace the wire with a longer wire. If I couldn't replace the wire then I would use a professional splice and extend the wire. If there are more than one wire involved then stagger any splices. Something like Uxcell 3 Pcs Dual Rows 3 Positions 600V 45A Wire Barrier Block Terminal Strip TB-4503L. Make sure any terminal strip is heavy duty, like this 45 Amp strip. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The voltage should be fine. These are supposedly 1 amp strings at 12v. So with a 8ah rating you should get 8 hours. But my guess is they don't quite pull an amp, so you may get longer but with some loss of brightness towards the end of the charge. They're fairly bright, you could add a small dimmer to extend the battery life. Of course, if it's a car or truck trailer, you could use the trailer wiring to power them as well instead of dedicated power. They're pretty tolerant of voltage fluctuations, and again, a dimmer adds some voltage stability if necessary.

Question:	Do you have a double pole version of this switch

Question:	Is this switch grounded to its enclosure? Like, if I put this in a metal panel, will the 12v running through it end up grounding to that panel
Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't. It's just a piece of wire with connectors at each end. They is no electronics involved in this case
Question:	Does this switch default to off or on when the power after power to the circuit is restored? I.E car engine turns off then on
Answer:	For CPAP machine, you can plug into AIMTOM power station's AC port; however in order to get longer runtime, we recommend you get a DC adapter for your CPAP machine (the DC adapter that you can plug into car cigarette lighter port). On each AIMTOM power station, there is a car cigarette lighter type jack, just plug your CPAP machine's DC adapter into it. In this way, it will use DC power instead of AC, thus give you longer runtime.
