Question:	How tall are these
Answer:	The same thing happened to me, with 4 out of the 6 mugs so far. I will not use the other 2 now. One broke right by my son's high chair. Luckily he wasn't sitting in it at the time, or it may have spilled on him or glass may have hit him. It fell off hard. The other ones broke while hand washing lightly, all in the same place. Each Stone & Mill Glass set starts life as a single tube of high-grade Borosilicate glass. Unlike crystal glassware which by definition must contain at least 20% lead, Borosilicate glass is 100% lead free. Double walled glasses are more delicate than pressed glassware and they need to be treated as such, in saying that we include customer care instructions to help and guide you to get the most from your double walled glasses.

Question:	How much water does the underside of the bottom retain in the dishwasher
Answer:	The lip is abut 1/16 in. and because the cup/glass is insulated the thickness of the mug is not measurable. The picture is very accurate and I can testify that they are very easy to hold. Keeps the coffee/tea very hot but not the handle. I love mine.
