Answer:	I set my 8 cam system to record only when motion is detected and I can go back and view clips from a week ago. I imagine with a single terabyte drive you can get between 500-600 hours with the H.264 encoding. So long as its selective recording, such as motion detection, etc. For continuous 24/7 recording that you would probably want to add a 4 terabyte drive to achieve the estimated 600 hours that's advertised.

Question:	When these security cameras are in nighttime mode, are their images in black and white? When these cameras are in daytime mode, are in colors
Answer:	When the light is dark at night, their photosensitive components will automatically detect the light, and their IR LEDs will be automatically turned on to deliver black & white images. In the daytime when the light is bright, their IR LEDs will be automatically turned off to deliver color images.

Answer:	If you are thinking "quick release" implies a throw lever, you are correct it is not that type. It requires turning a thumb screw to release the included plate, though I'd still call that very quick and easy. The plate does safety stops. It is all standard Arca-Swiss, and often in advertising I have seen commonly anything with Arca-Swiss is advertised as "quick", throw lever or not.
