Answer:	The diameter is just under 11 inches. I have put the plates in the dishwasher in the bottom area -- just read on the plate that it should be top shelf. Bottom shelf seemed okay.

Answer:	Yeah I'm measuring the bowl that's in my hand right now and it is 6" diameter but only approx. 2.5" deep. Great bowl though. Works well if you want to rock some cereal with cut up fruit with room for milk. Killer bowl. Good luck though.

Answer:	Large size bowls hold 40oz when filled to the brim, or 24oz comfortably. Small size bowls hold 20oz when filled to the brim. or 12 oz comfortably. Measurements are described in detail in product images. They are not imported from Japan.

Answer:	Thanks for asking. At the moment we are only able to sell these in sets of 4 bowls and 4 spoons. You could always give 2 away to a friend!
