Answer:	I love them because they are not too heavy to work with. I haven't used them on wool or anything heavy like that but I think they would do pretty good. The handles fit my hands nicely. But most of all they cut sharp and clean. It is important to have sharp shears when you are cutting. This may sound bad but my Mother had a pair of shears (not Fiskars) and we spent a lot of time & money having them sharpened.
