| Answer: | Here are some sheer basics. 1) HLC.ME Sheers are the length labeled on each package. 2) The hanging length is determined by the top of the rod pocket of the sheer measured down to the bottom of the sheer hem. 3) When hung properly, the hem should just kiss the floor surface. 3) Remember Sheer will relax and hang better if laid out full length for an hour or so on a soft (bedspread etc.) once removed from packaging. 4) Sheerness is determined by the number of panels hung per rod. I live in the wonderful desert area of Las Vegas, Nevada and use HLC.ME in all my windows over heavy wood shutters. The Sheers soften the shutter,s appearance. I also use custom cornice boards over each window matching the wall color in addition to side panels and full custom draperies over the sheers for complete darkness in a room. Last Sheer Basic 5) Sheers are delicate. They will absorb stains from dirt and smoke. They can be washed and dried in very gentle cycles.
