| Answer: | Easy fix for any tree. Get some dowel rods ( easily found on amazon) black or dark green spray paint, and some dark coloured zip ties. Spray paint the rods you think will disappear the best when viewed from 3 feet away. Take painted rods, depending on the weight of the tree topper. Take the bottom 2/3 rd of the rods and zip tie them to sturdier part of the tree frame ( not branches) then place tree topper on the exposed 1/3 of the remaining rod. Gives you a sturdy support. To remove zip ties, just use a toe nail clipper and save rods for next year. Have done this with several trees. |

| Answer: | We flocked hundreds of trees each year for over 30 years at a place we owned. My job was to put lights on about a 100 trees a year. I put them on before we flocked. Yes, to do it right you want a lot more lights. String the lights up and down each branch making it so the wires aren’t going across the branches. Then flock it, as heavy as you want. The lights glow through the flock and you end up with a beautiful tree. I had customers that had me do it for theirs every year. Some were with me from our first year to our last. Even had a couple come to my door at my home, after we shut down, begging me to still do theirs. You won’t be sorry if you flock over the lights. The best way is to wrap the strings around the branches rather than using ties. Also, if you use a lighted tree top, be sure that you leave the proper end at the top so you can plug it in.
