Answer:	There are several reasons, please check them one by one. 1. Please check if the remote control of the original set-top box is running normally?（Maybe the battery is dead） 2. When using our products, you need to hide the set-top box to avoid the set-top box receiving two infrared signals at the same time. Otherwise, because of the time difference between the two infrared signals, they will interfere with each other as they are not synchronized, which may cause failure of normal use; 3. Please check : When the original set-top box remote control is aimed at the receiver of our product and operate the remote control, is there a flashing light when the remote control is operated? If the signal light flashes, the product is working properly. The signal will flash when the receiver receives the infrared signal and has sent it out. At this point, please check if the transmitter is attached to the receiving window of the set-top box close enough. Our transmitter sends signals in a directional direction and you must attach the transmitter to the receiving window of the set-top box. 4. Answer:	This repeater works with any device that uses Infrared (IR) signaling. It does not translate the signal, it only transmits it using the wired emitters to those devices that don't have direct line of sight to the remote signal. This allows you to put your devices inside a cabinet or in a position where it cannot directly "see" the remote. The Denon will work fine as most receivers use IR remotes but I think Dish uses RF remotes. So you need to verify the type of remote your dvr uses before buying the IR repeater. If it uses RF this repeater will not help you.

Answer:	The remote extender has 4 emitters embedded in a small cube with 6 by 10 mm dimension . The emitter itself has 2.5 mm diameter.
Question:	would it fit a 2015 macpro book
Answer:	I had tables and furniture blocking the remote beam to one or all of my components. I mounted the receiver eye on top of the TV. From the repeater I ran a transmitter to each of the components. It works very well. No more getting up and reaching out in order to make the remote work.
