Answer:	Mine doesn't have that button. I think it's an older model.

Answer:	It has 5 fan levels, each one louder than the previous. It is not quiet but not too loud for what it is doing and it's size. At levels 4 and 5 it is moving so much air through it that the rush of the air through its filters overpowers the sound from the fan. Overall it is a great product that I would buy again or recommend to a friend or family with allergies.

Answer:	The air purifier has five speed settings in the automatic and manual modes. When it is turned on, the automatic mode analyzes the quality of the air and adjusts its operation accordingly. The higher the setting, the more noise the purifier makes and can be a little problematic. As the air quality improves, the fan speed decreases and the noise becomes less bothersome. I generally use the manual feature and run the unit on the 2 or 3 setting.

Answer:	According to Silver Onyx, they have already received certification from CARB and just waiting for Amazon to send them the paperwork to get this product approved for shipment to California. Answer:	I cannot verify with mine as I have given it away to a friend. but I sleep way more than 8 hours, and on the weekends I left it on 24 hours a day. So you should have no problem.
