Answer:	There is a wire routing issue in some early units that causes the asperating fan to activate the lightning sensor. I had to send mine in for it. It sucks to send it in, but they paid shipping and the fix is covered under warranty.

Answer:	Lays flat to work on patio doors. I doubt it would work on other upright doors that do not have round handles since the top portion is rounded.

Answer:	Honestly I have not tired. The main purpose was for my patio door but, since you asked I tried to put them on and when I say I tried I sure did try. I was unable to get the white plastic ends off that are use for the patio door. So knowing that I'm going to change my review on this product. There is no way that my wife will be able to take these patio ends off if she was in a serious danger. The quality is good but, I felt like it was a bonus to have both options if needed for the price.
Question:	Will this work for a straight handle rather than a door knob? Some might call it a European handle or handicapped handle

Answer:	Understanding that you meant "Do I need to run this with a tuner to use with Rpi?", here are my two cents: Installing what's needed (there are plenty of tutorials on youtube), it's basically plug and play. Just make sure to use a good USB HUB to connect the SDR, keyboard and mouse to, and for God's sake, use a GOOD low noise 2-3A power supply, as the Rpi is very sensitive to power glitches.

Two of them are fixed-frequency, and one is variable.The variable one is the familiar telescoping style you would find on most small radios.The 433MHz antenna is the one about 17.2CM long.UHF is 300 MHz to 3 GHz (the shorter fixed length antenna)The higher the frequency, the shorter the antenna. Most of the little antennas we see are 1/4 wavelength.There are dozens of websites with frequency to length calculators if you want to be specific with your antenna.I tend to use the variable telescoping one more often than the other two.

I am bummed because I already have high quality hidden z-wave sensor all over my house and do not want to use these huge sensors RING provides. You still have to inform your local municipality about the monitoring service and possibly pay them either a one time or yearly registration fee (your township may call it something else) which is separate from the Ring services. Both the alarm system and cameras can be enabled to record when the alarm is tripped if you don't know about that by the way. They also incorporated the panic button into the Ring app on the iPhones now too. At $279 w/ the free Echo dot its a steal. I got mine when it was not on sale for $329.00 and no Echo dot.

Answer:	It's an app. It's called XVR Pro. It has a red background with two white circles. In the right circle, it has a camera lens. You may have more questions after you install the app, so feel free to contact me if you do. I had many questions getting it setup and had to contact the company. Unfortunately, they are in China, speak Chinese and take forever to answer back.

Answer:	Yup. I’m more into iOS devices except for the one Android tablet that I use to access my SDR server using rtl_tcp. Look for SDRoid or one of the many other SDR applications. I wish there was an SDR application for iOS. I’d LOVE to be able to work my SDR setup using my iPad or iPhone!
Question:	Can the recordings be done over wi-fi to the computer or is the recording time just limited to the capacity of the onboard SD card
Answer:	It will work with pretty much any OS. Windows XP and later, MacOS, LInus and, I believe Android. The key is the software. Search Google for SDR software. You'll find free software for whatever OS you're using. I have that exact product running in Windows 10 with SDR Sharp software..
