Answer:	I have only used the program included but from my research you can use other software. I don’t think it would hurt to try.

Answer:	If you go to uscutter.com...then go to "Support"...click on "Software" ..."VinylMaster Software Download"...enter the PSN number from the back of the software box...then look for "Legacy Drivers" ... I use Vevor SK- 870 and then download the driver. When you try to make the connection, I use the Direct Com port option with the USB cord that came with my cutter...the blue cord. Hope this helps you. I learned everything from trial and error because the company tells you NOTHING about how to use this cutter. Good Luck!

Question:	Is this item suitable for trimming 32lb paper in 3 or 5mil laminating sleeve
Answer:	The "heaviness" of the cutter would indicate to me that it would. The size of the blades might limit it to 1/8" or less. Leather might dull the blades rather quickly. I only use it to cut paper and it is more than adequate for that purpose.
Question:	Does this cut canvas
Answer:	I am not sure it will cut Tyvek. We use it to cut 3ml. laminated menus for restaurants. I think it would, but can't be sure without trying it.
Question:	What is the maximum thickness you can cut
Answer:	Yes, it will. I tried it out on an 18 inch piece. Just be sure and hold down towards the end of the sheet, sometimes it will pull the paper. But not nearly as much as other trimmers like this. Just the more you get towards the 18 mark, takes more care.
Question:	I often cut things based on lines on the paper, not a distance from the edge. Is there a guide to show exactly where the blade is going to cut
Answer:	Actually there is a rule along the top. Goes down by the inch wth 1/4 and 1/8" markings. I could cut an 1/8" with mine because it cuts precisely where I want it to.

Answer:	We just got out of a Cricut class tonight, 10/14/2019) at a local Michaels. We (my wife and I) both downloaded the DesignSpace software in class from the Cricut website to our Windows 10 laptops and after downloading a small Windows add-in, were able to launch DesignSpace, create and cut projects successfully from out laptops. We also had out Apple iPads and downloaded the Apple Store DesignSpace app and had no problem using them to design and cut. Can’t speak about the Mac though...

Answer:	The only difference between the air1 and air2 is the speed of the cut and the color options for the machines. I have the air2 and I honestly haven't even tried the faster cutting option because I've been cutting really delicate things and I was afraid that it would rip the material at a faster speed. I guess this question depends on how much you would use it and for what. I don't, by any means, think the air1 is "slow".

Answer:	Through personal experience, the Cricut Design Space software let’s you upload svg files, but not ai or eps. The best advice for cutting images from Illustrator is to use a USCutter instead, it uses a software called Sure Cuts A Lot and works with alot of file types (ai, eps, svg)

Answer:	These can be used with the Silhouette Cameo. Make sure to change your mat settings in Studio to the correct size. They are very sticky also.
Question:	has anyone ever used these mats with a portrait 2? My auto blade malfunctions when i sue them, has anyone else had that problem
Answer:	I have been using these mats with the Portrait 2 for months. The only problem is they don't have the 2 lines to show how to line up printed paper. I have never had a problem with my auto blade on these mats. Double check your blade is installed properly , I was experiencing issues until I tried that.

Answer:	Not sure but it works with Silhouette Portrait and Cameo 3 & 4.

Answer:	Yes, but they don’t stick worth a darn. I do not recommend if you need it sticky!

Answer:	I use mine for cutting 12 x12 papers. The table width is 12.25 with 12 inch markings. With the cutter it is 13 1/8 inches wide Vertical it is a 13 inch board surface and with the cutter is 19 inches. I hope this helps you. BTW I love mine. It is well made, sturdy and cuts beautifully

Answer:	There are two different setting to take care of before you get to properly print your label. One setting is actually your printer setting when you print it needs to be set 4x6. But the other one is on whatever website you are trying to get the labels from. Before buying the labels, you need to make sure you buy 4x6 size label. Then you can get that label and print properly. But if you get a different size label and try to fit it in 4x6, obviously you get some trouble getting it right. So, first buy/get you labels in 4x6 and then print 4x6. For example on paypal there is a place to setup your labels to buy/print. Just Google it, it's pretty easy.
